Purposes of a music video

To promote – rappers or singers sometimes promote their entourage ,brand or label in their music videos to be aware of its existence.Advertising – sometimes when a new product comes out for e.g. beats by dr dre ,often you’ll see celebrities or rappers wearing his head phones which makes viewers or fans interested .To entertain – some music videos are made just for people to have a good dance to ,sit down and reminisce or basically in other words just to set a moodTo send a message- to let people become aware of certain worldwide crisis such as racism or hate crime.
