We chose this product because of the recognition this brand already has in the younger generation. It is known worldwide and has expanded it’s product from limited to body sprays to now shower gels, gift sets, razors and many other cosmetics. I think what is successful about this brand is on a day to day basis, the general public want to smell inviting so Lynx have provided many different fragrances for different occasions and research shows that certain body odors are connected to human sexual attraction.

Target Audience Lynx is becoming the deodorant of choice for men in the

teens and early twenties as most of the adverts centre on the idea that woman will do anything for men wearing Lynx which would appeal to males that want to attract female attention. This would appeal mainly to boys and teens in college or high school because that is their prime to want to grab attention of someone they’re attracted.

LYNX SPRAY HISTORY “What is Lynx to us is Axe to the French, where it

began life in 1983. Two years later the brand that was to become the smell of teenage boys' changing rooms arrived in the UK. In the twenty-five or so years since, Lynx has expanded to include new scents and shower gels and is now the UK's number one male grooming brand.” As the years have gone on, they have perfected the brand; now they use a compressed can.

CompetitionThere are always competitors that are always striving to knock Lynx of the top and become the No.1 body spray brand; Impulse, Charlie, Victoria Secret body spray, Old spice, Playboy, Nivea Men and Dove being a few of very many.

Mind Map 1Our other idea’s would be like lynx’s idea of the opposite sex being very attracted to the person using this spray.

Person sprays product before entering room and attracts attention, makes said person irresistible.

Use various shots, at least 4 different techniques.

Have voice over explaining the situation and saying the brand name.
