Welcome Back2009 was another extraordinary year for M&H. The year began in great style, with our Harlequin Bat and M&H Leather Bag both scooping top awards in the All Out Cricket magazine equipment review. Such recognition was then reflected in a bumper summer of sales, as our new range was enjoyed by more cricketers than ever before.

But with our commitment to excellence, we knew that M&H would have to introduce more innovative products in 2010.

Made from rare oversized English willow clefts, we can now unveil a new masterpiece to our 2010 bat range. Called the Distinction, our new wand boasts an enormous clas-sic profile, unimposing edges and a gentle bow. Industry specialists have already re-viewed this blade, and the consensus? The Distinction is one of the best on the market.

But we also understand the importance of tradition, so we have reproduced the same models as last year. We have the Solution for low wickets; and the S6, with its honey-comb centre, offers the brutal yet discerning hitter a light pick-up from a large bat. The Harlequin and Original bats continue to be best sellers; traditionally shaped with unim-posing edges, a gentle bow and a high middle, they remain the strokeplayer’s choice.

And while our soft goods have been left virtually untouched, we have listened to cus-tomer feedback and invested in a new pad and glove range, the Original. Furthermore, the M&H accessories range has a few extra additions in the form of our new canvas bags. Made from heavy-duty canvas, they give practicality, durabilty and style for cricket and travel.

Every cleft is supplied from renewable willow plantations in Essex dedicated to the cricket bat perfectionists and selected by our master craftsmen. Three experts work tirelessly in the M&H workshops producing bats famed for their pick-up and hitting power. Every bat is made with pride, utilising the same tools and techniques used by previous generations, when handmade, rather than mass-produced factory blades, were the norm.

Bespoke bat gift experience £320A chance to take advantage of a service normally reserved for the professional cricketer. This gift experience entitles the recipient to come and visit the Millichamp and Hall workshops in the Somerset County Ground. Here you will watch your bat crafted by our master bat makers. They will involve you throughout the whole process (around 2-3

hours) from the all-important choice of willow cleft and profile, to the finishing of the completed blade.

This experience is suitable for males and females of any age and is available most dates we are open, subject to availability.

All bats come with a 12-month warranty. Our policy is to repair or replace bats free of charge within the first season if they have been damaged within the normal course of play. The repair shop is open 12 months a year. The services include, bat re-balance, re-handles, repair of split toes and cracked edges. Servicing will prolong the life of a favourite piece of wood, at a cost of just £25.
