Day 1: Tuesday, October 14 - Depart Denver Evening departure from Denver for your overnight flight to Greece. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board. Day 2: Wednesday, October 15 - Arrive Thessaloniki, Greece Connect flight to Thessaloniki. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Time to relax, meet your fellow pilgrims, dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki. Day 3: Thursday, October 16 - Phillippi, Kavala, Thessaloniki Visit Philippi where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe, sowing the seeds of Christianity. "And from there (he went) to Philippi, which is the leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman Colony. We remained in this city some days..." (Acts 16:12-18) Here Paul baptized a certain woman named Lydia, the first Christian convert in Europe. The Roman forum, completely excavated, is from after Paul's time. Among the ruins, located on the rocky ledge above the town's main road is the prison where Paul and Silas were thrown. Continue into the modern port city of Kavala, ancient Neapolis, where Paul accompanied by Silas, Luke and Timothy, first set foot in Europe. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki. Day 4: Friday, October 17 - Thessaloniki, Meteora: Thessaloniki City Tour Paul preached in Thessaloniki during the winters of 49-50 AD and wrote two epistles to the ancient Thessalonians. See the ramparts of the city, the triumphal Arch of Galerius starting at the Via Egnatia, once a strategic artery of the Roman Empire. Depart for Kalambaka, Meteora Monasteries. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka. Day 5: Saturday, October 18 - Kalambaka - Athens Visit Meteora Monasteries. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks, that seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Continue to Delphi, the center of the ancient world (navel) of the earth, whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hel-lenic world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Phthios. Visit the site and the museum and continue to Ath-ens.“ Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription “ to an unknown God”. What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you…” (Acts 17:22-31). Athens, is one of the most glorious cities in the world and the cradle of western civilization as we know it today. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Day 6: Sunday, October 19 - Athens - Excursion to Corinth After breakfast we will visit the Acropolis to see the ruins of the Par-thenon, Erectheum and Propylae. For twenty five centuries, the pano-rama of this city is dominated by the rock of the Acropolis; we see the ruins of the Parthenon, the Erectheum and the Propylae. Afterwards, we will ascend Mars Hill where Paul spoke to the ancient Athenians about the one and only God. From here we have an excellent view of the ancient agora; former center of the Athenian public life. We con-tinue for a drive through the city to see the House of Parliament on Syntagma Square, the evzones in their picturesque uniforms guard-ing the Presidential Palace and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We also see the Library, the University, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympics of the modern era were held, the temple of the Olympian Zeus and Adrian’s Arch. This afternoon we continue our tour to Ancient Corinth. Here, under the shadow of the towering Acropolis, St. Paul preached and lived for two years. The vigorous and mostly Gentile Church he founded here in 50 AD caused him much grief and prompted him to write, at least, four letters to them. Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. See the remains of the first century shops, the agora where Paul's trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene, Temple of Apollo and the Bema. Return to Athens for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Monday, October 20 - Athens - Rome After breakfast we make our way to Athens Airport where we will board our plane that will bring us to Rome. Upon arrival, your escort will warmly greet you this afternoon and welcome you to Italy. Trans-fer to your Hotel and enjoy a free afternoon for rest, relaxation, or exploration. Your tour escort can suggest sights or a walk for you to enjoy. Dinner and overnight. Day 8: Tuesday, October 21 - Rome (Full Day of touring Chris-tian Rome) Following breakfast, we will depart for a sightseeing tour entitled "Christian Rome" which includes: the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the most important and the oldest church dedicated to Our Lady. St. Mary Major contains a relic from the manger of the infant Jesus. Next, the Basilica of St. John the Lateran, the Pope’s cathedral church where relics of both Peter and Paul remain under the main altar. It was here that Pope Francis was formally installed one year ago as Bishop of Rome. Next we cross the street to see the Holy Staircase which is believed to be a staircase from Pilate’s palace in Jerusalem and brought to Rome by St. Helen in the 4th century. Stop for lunch, and then we will continue on to visit St Paul, Outside the Walls, here we celebrate Mass. Continue our tour via the Appian Way -- the oldest road from Roman times--plus the famous Domino Quo Vadis Chapel; see the ancient Baths of Caracalla, Arch of Drusus; Tomb of Celilia Metella, and the catacombs of St Callixtus where the early Christians hid themselves to escape persecution. We will conclude the day by visiting the famous, Trevi Fountain. Built in the 15th Century to mark the ending destination of the Aqua Virgo (a manmade channel erect-ed in 19 B.C. to bring fresh water to Roman bathhouses.) The water comes from the Salone Springs, eight miles outside of the city. Leg-end has it, by tossing a coin into the fountain, it will guarantee a re-turn trip to Rome. Dinner and overnight. Day 9: Wednesday, October 22 - Rome (Papal Audience and Vati-can Museum Tour) Following breakfast, we will prepare for today, which we will have in our minds for many years to come. We will make our way to St. Pe-ter’s Square to attend the Papal Audience, led by His Holiness, Pope Francis. (Papal Audience: Is scheduled to take place every Wednes-day, pending the schedule of Pope Francis). Following the audience, visit of the Vatican Museums, containing a group of the most impres-sive edifices with hundreds of galleries filled with art treasures. See awe-inspiring relics, and works of art donated throughout centuries as tributes of faith. We'll cover The Tapestry Gallery, The Raphael Rooms and the most overwhelming Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's Masterpiece, restored mural of the Last Judgment. Later, enter the largest church in Christendom, St Peter's Basilica, built on the site where St Peter was martyred. Unsurpassed in beauty, a monument to the long history of the Catholic Church, to which pilgrims come from around the world, St Peter's is the grandest of the world's churches. Marvel at the Pieta and Bernini's amazing bronze canopy. Pope Fran-cis visited the tomb of St. Peter, following his elevation, for a visit of devotion that lasted 45 minutes. He is the first Pontiff to visit the ne-cropolis since extensive archaeological excavations were conducted at the ancient site decades ago. We will also visit the tomb of Pope John Paul II located at the Vatican. Dinner and overnight. Day 10: Thursday, October 23 - Rome - Denver Following breakfast, we will board our bus that will bring us to the Rome Airport for our return flights home to Denver. We will bid fare-well to our new friends and to a Pilgrimage which will be in our memo-ries and hearts for a long time to come. We depart for Rome Airport and fondly say, Arrivederci Italia!

tor. The suppliers providing transportation, sightseeing arrange-

ments, and hotel accommodations for the tour program are inde-

pendent contractors and are not agents or employees of 206 Tours.

All coupons, receipts and tickets issued are subject to the terms

and conditions specified by suppliers. By utilizing the service of

the suppliers, you agree that 206 Tours will not be liable for any

change in flight or itinerary schedule, strikes, delay, acts of gov-

ernments, fires, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine,

medical or customs regulations, accident, loss, injury, or damage

to you or to those traveling with you in connection with any

accommodations, transportation or any other services or resulting

directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its

omission, or event during the time you are on board the aircraft.

Neither 206 Tours and/or agents of the airlines concerned are to

be held responsible for the late arrival of passengers at airports or

hotels due to inclement weather, nor are they to be held liable for

payment or any refund for transfers or unused hotel accommoda-

tions or meals occasioned by such late arrivals at the hotels hold-

ing rooms as confirmed itineraries. Passengers must bear all such

losses or expenses. To guard against unforeseen health or other

circumstances, we recommend you purchase our optional travel

insurance. 206 Tours is not responsible for circumstances beyond

its control. In circumstances where trip cancellations resulting

from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancella-

tions due to acts of war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes

place, 206 Tours is not liable for restitution. Though every effort

will be made to follow the itinerary, it should be considered as an

indication of the tour, rather than a contract of places to be visited.

Occasionally local religious holidays, national days, traffic condi-

tions and other events, including the Canonization of the Blessed

John Paul II and the Mass of Thanksgiving may necessitate chang-

es in the sequence of visits or the missing of certain visits. We will

have daily mass and strive to be in places as indicated. However,

sometimes this is not possible as the site may not be available for

Mass or itinerary changes are forced upon us. In this case an

alternative site for Mass will be arranged.

SPECIAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS You must report any

disability requiring special attention to 206 Tours at the time of

registration for any tour. We make every effort to accommodate

disabled passengers by reserving for them wheelchair assistance at

airports and handicap accessible rooms where available, however,

we cannot guarantee and are not responsible for any denial of ser-

vices by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers.

Be aware that all of our tours are operated outside the U.S. where the

Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable and facilities for

disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation services, includ-

ing the touring motor coaches, are not equipped with wheelchair

ramps or lifts. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance

to any tour participant for walking, dining, while in their room, on

flight, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other

personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion(s) must

accompany travelers who need special assistance. It is the passen-

ger's responsibility to arrange for such assistance prior to making

their reservations. Motorized scooters are unsuitable and impossible

to accommodate. 206 Tours is not responsible for any medical

condition that occurs prior, during or after the tour. Additionally,

airlines are not able to guarantee or provide assistance for disabled

travelers including special seating. Pregnancy, Breast-Feeding, and

Traveling Pregnant women considering international travel should be

advised to evaluate the potential problems associated with interna-

tional travel as well as the quality of medical care available at the

destination and during transit. A pregnant woman is advised to travel

with at least one companion; during her pregnancy, her level of

comfort may be adversely affected by traveling.

YOUNG TRAVELERS Travelers who are less than 18 years old

on the departure date must be accompanied by an adult. Due to

heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to pre-

vent international abductions of children. If a child will be traveling

with adults other than the parents or with only one parent, it is

recommended that a notarized letter be written by the parents or non-

traveling parent granting authorization to travel including the dates

of travel. We also suggest you contact the appropriate consulate and

airlines because they may have additional requirements. For the

purposes of 206 Tours trips an infant is defined as anyone who is

under the age of 24 months for the entire duration of their trip. A

child is defined as any one between the ages of 24 months-11 years

for the entire duration of their trip.

SAFETY Please be aware that during your participation on this

Canonization Pilgrimage operated by 206 Tours, certain risks and

dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to,

the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by automobile,

aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, politi-

cal unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of

rapid evacuation or medical facilities. 206 Tours does not have

liability regarding provisions of medical care or the adequacy of any

care that may be rendered. 206 Tours is not responsible for compen-

sation for cities/sites omitted from the itinerary due to circumstances

beyond its control.

PHYSICALITY OF OUR TOURS Please note that this Pilgrim-

age to the Canonization in Italy, serviced by 206 Tours, requires

physical fitness and a lot of walking, sometimes up or down the hills

and at times very rough terrain. Europe is based on a myriad of old

buildings, and there are split-levels and uneven services everywhere;

please watch your step! Due to the structure of old buildings, access

to some establishments may not be convenient for wheelchair use,

and facilities for the disabled in general may be limited. Many areas

are Pedestrian Only, and have cobblestones. High-heeled shoes are

not suitable for cobblestone streets; rubber soled walking shoes are

recommended. Many streets in Europe are narrow, and due to strict

traffic regulations, the buses are not always permitted to drop groups

off directly in front of their destinations. Due to the influx of Pil-

grims in Rome, on the day of the Canonization, use of trains, busses,

and cabs will be limited, if not suspended entirely. You may be

required to walk to St. Peter’s Basilica, in order to attend this mirac-

ulous event. Please be prepared to stand for an extended period of

time in order to attain the best place for viewing. You may certainly

stay behind for certain parts of the journey, however, it is suggested

that 3 to 4 weeks before your departure one should begin preparing

physically begin walking "briskly" 1-2 times a day; build up to 2-3

miles with no discomfort.

SERVICE INQUIRIES AFTER THE TRIP If upon returning

from your trip, you wish to inquire about any services provided,

please ensure that all correspondence is received by 206 Tours, 333

Marcus Blvd - Hauppauge, NY 11788, within 45 days of the tour

completion date. This will enable us to make a timely investigation.

circumstance outside the control of 206 Tours, are not the fault of

206 Tours. Great effort will be made to accommodate traveler to
