OUR SELLERS STYLE YOU TOp TO bOTTOM!

It all starts with our buyers... who work inside all of our stores and are often on the floor with associates and customers, taking a pulse on what you want and need.

Our buyers take this knowledge and sensitivity to the world’s runways and top

fashion houses, where they work with designers to hand-pick and create collections they are confident will resonate with our customers... always stepping a bit out of the comfort zone to push the envelope and create excitement!

As our associates work so

closely with our buyers, they have an intimate knowledge of all of our merchandise... what’s in store, what’s coming in and what they can get. This enables them to bring you pieces you may not have chosen yourself, which usually creates some happy surprises!

“ Stella’s clothes are truly perfect for many of our customers. Her style is wearable yet directional. A match made in fashion heaven!” Lauren Perez, Buyer

The daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney and late photographer/animal rights activist Linda McCartney, Stella McCartney started making clothes at age 13. After an internship at Christian DeLaCroix, a Saville row apprenticeship and fashion

education, she succeeded Karl Lagerfeld as Creative Director of Chloe in 1997. In 2001, the Gucci Group (now PPR Luxury Group) teamed up with Stella to create a global brand.

Stella is known for her bold, simple tailoring with a feminine twist and for creating clothing that is dramatic yet very wearable. “It’s not about what it looks like in the studio or on the runway,” she told WWD. “It’s what it looks like on a real person that matters.”

WHY WE LOVE... STELLA MCCARTNEY!

Some of the many services our associate provide include:

SpRING TWEETS — fRESH Off THE NY RUNWAY!

Lauren Perez Transparency is all over... Sheer is edgy and when mixed with lace it’s uber feminine. From Lim to Wu, bare is where it’s at!

Lauren Perez Cool Femininity is Reed’s new mantra. Effortless, streamlined dress-ing with multiple layers…a new direction for the line. I’m loving it!

Linda Mitchell The runway was filled with beautiful clothes that span day to evening and will appeal to multi generations. There was a wonderful use of color, lots of lace and ribbon and leather embroidery.

Lauren Perez The Row…. Sophisticated elegance! I mean really!

Lauren Perez Michael Kors… it’s a mod mod world California in the 60’s via 90’s. Mr Kors... the king of look good feel good clothes!

Linda Mitchell J. Mendel: an amazing range of color and wonderful pairing of fab-rics and textures, solids and prints. Gilles deftly combined soft draping and pleating with a very sexy modern edge — perfect for today’s woman. It’s also an anniversary year for J. Mendel, as they launched their RTW line 10 years ago, adding to the furrier side of the 130-year-old family business.

Lauren Perez Proenza Schouler: Leather was every-where…perforated hip slung skirts, on jackets and details on dresses. The patchworking and use of vivid color was a winner! Inspired by Gerhard Richter that the designers had seen in Paris they created multicolored collages using bold color combinations. C’est magnifique!

Angela Pieretti Peeks of skin and flesh colored leather mixed with pops of mint and lavender capture next spring’s effort-lessly feminine looks from JBrandRTW, Kelly Weartsler and more.

My Special MuseLinda Rait, Richards Kors Specialist/Friend Since 2007

I love bringing women to a place, fashion-wise, that they didn’t expect to go. One of my many special customers is very successful with a big job in finance. She had no idea how gorgeous she is. She came in when I first started, looking for a coat for her college-bound stepdaughter. Soon, we started working on her style and I’ve turned her into a true fashionista... and boy do we have fun!
