The Whites will be in the majority in Parliament,^xnore^than^ Coloureds and Indians, as such can not get l**r- GBwavnnent

The Blacks will be pushed far away, to Homelands {false Homelands) of Sebe and Mphephy. The Government wants to exploit the Black person economically while not giving him a right in Government. The Government has started with the Aliens Act. This Law strips millions of citizens of their right of citizenship.

Like a foreigner you will have to buy the right of being here.If the Government dislikes you, it will refuse you permission. If you do not have permission you will be arrested, fined and be repatriated; and a person who accommodates you will be arrested and fined.

KGATELLO E A ATISWAOPPRESSION IS BEING STRENGTHENED

Those whc are selling us out says that the new Bill givesIndians and Coloureds political power; and they say astime goes the Government will seek ways of involving the Blacks in Parliament.

But the truth is :

* The Coloureds and Indians will not get true political powers, the reason being there are more Whites than Coloureds and Indians combined in this new Parliament.

* The Blacks (Africans) will not even come near having political power. They will be shoved even further away into the hands of Sebe and Mphephy in those small areas the Bantustans.

This Aliens Act seeks to strip millions of Africans their residential rights in South Africa. If you come from the Transkei or Bophutatswana or any of the so-called Indepen= dent Homelands, you are an alien in the land of your birth. That is.

If you are alien you have to pay for your right to be in South Africa. If the Government dislikes you, you will be refused permission. If they don't need your labour, you can't get permission. If you have no permission, you will be arrested, fined and be repatriated.

Any person who accommodates you will be fined for doing so. UDF calls upon you to Unite, Unite in the struggle against Apartheid.

FORWARD TO FREEDOM.

THE SENTENCES ARE FINISHED: LET THEM BE RELEASED!

How can the August elections be valid if the majority have r.o franchise, when other organisations are banned, and many of the people being in prison, nothing will be right, and some others are in exile and cannot come home.

Amongst those imprisoned for standing against the Govern= cent and it’s laws, are UDF hopes, people like Mandela, Sisulu, Mbeki, Kathrada, Goldberg, and all others who were involved in the trial of Rivonia, the twelve of them. Those are the hope of the UDF.

UDF again repeats that these people should be released from Prison, especially at this time when the Government pretends to want peace in South Africa.

We know that peace is still far away as long as South Africa keeps on forcing dead pe^ce accords on frontline states. Peace will not come b»>uuu^5 n̂f people such as Sebe, Hen= drikse and Rajbansi, who are forced on us.

This tricks of the Minister (P.C) and the Koornhof Bills, does not bring peace. These tricks and those who are called our leaders are in fact not our leaders, we do notwant them.

Peace will not be brought about by the Government locking up all its opponents in prison, they are being stopped from coming with suggestions that could bring about peace in our Country.

In 1964 the Government sent eight people to jail for life, during the Rivonia trial. These men were Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, Govan Mbeki, Ahmed Kathrada, Denis Goldberg, Raymond Mhlaba, Elias Motsoaledi and Andrew Mlangeni.

The Release Mandela Committee, an affiliate of the UDF is busy campaigning for the release of these men from prison. They have been there long, for twenty years(20 years ).

In the International Community, twenty years is equivalen to life imprisonment; more than that, it is no more life imprisonment but can be equalled to the death sentence.

As such the UDF together with the RMC sees that the peopl of South Africa and the world should keep on forcing the Government to release those people.

WE SAY RELEASE THEM 11 I

Liewe Plattelanders...____________ _______________________________ \

. Lie we -Plattelanders

Waarom is dit so?

Ily Is teen apartheid, vlr gcregtlgheid.
