M1 Summer Gala: This gala provides swimmers with an opportunity to compete in sprint and middle distance events. All events are mixed (male/female) and open to all ages. Swimmers may enter a maximum of 5 events.

Condition of entry: It is a condition of entry that parents of all entered swimmers (aged under 18) agree to assist with timekeeping if requested by the club. Please check the online roster (available on the M1 website the day prior to the gala) to see if you are required.

Who may enter: Current season competitive members of M1 Swimming Club.

Method of entry: Enter online at m1swimmingclub.org.au (payment via credit card)

Event entry Fee: $35 per swimmer (includes $1 per swimmer/per event Swim Vic levy). Pool entry is free.

Program & roster: The program will be available on the M1 website by midday the day before the gala.

Meet approval: This gala will be conducted according to the guidelines set by Swim Vic and Swim Aus. This is a proposed qualifying meet subject to the approval of Swim Vic.

Club Champion point system: A point system is in place across all four galas to determine the club champions in each age group. Please refer to ‘M1 awards’ section of the M1 website for details.
