Other candidates can be admitted based on a decision of the Admissions Committee. An addi- tional requirement is that students demonstrate a knowledge of English at the level of UNIcert ® III by the third semester. The Erlangen M.A. Programme covers a broad

range of topics, including the three classical are-

as of Political Science, i.e. Political Philosophy,

Political Theory and History of Ideas, Compara-

tive and German Politics, International Relations.

In addition, the Programme offers trainings on

non-European areas as well as Human Rights

and Human Rights Politics.

Small course sizes intensify learning processes

based on a highly developed culture of communi-

cation between students, tutors and professors.

English language courses are regularly offered in

all of the modules.

Thanks to international exchange and communi-

cation programmes established with universities

in Finland, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Turkey,

Hungary and USA, students have the opportunity

to spend one of four semesters abroad.

The M.A. programme includes the following

Politics in non-European areas

Human Rights and

Human Rights Politics

Political Science
