There are quite many who build machining centres. But only afew take such intensive and successful care of the entire techno-logy content of your project like we do.The highest priority is given to deliver the best economical aswell as a strategic solution for your manufacturing task. Whichmachine model ends up being the right one and how it will beapplied most effectively, depends on your requirements for ma-terials to be machined, quality and production volumes.

We proclaim to be “The Technology People”. And this is morethan building machine tools. Competent counsel in all technolo-gical and commercial questions from “A” like Automation to “Z”like Z-axis thrust. All topics are addressed before the first chipfalls. We provide cost-per-part calculations and we are flexible incrafting your project finance. So your decision for SW as yourpreferred business partner is based on dependable data.We develop our machines from the inside out to make sure it istailored for its future effective use.

This brochure will provide you with an overview of our currentmachine portfolio and the most important technical data for eachmachine. Further details can be found at www.sw-machines.de.We will follow-up with a detailed proposal containing all optionsand combinations of our standardised machines. With that youcan be sure. Sure about the fact that with SW you found the right, dependable business partner.

Good advice.

Single spindle, twin- or four spindle? Before the decision for anyparticular machine type is made, many questions have to be an-swered. How many parts per shift must be produced? How canthe parts be located and clamped best? What is the best andsafest process? SW will provide a comprehensive concept – withcycle times and cost-per-part calculations – in order to confirmthe correctness of our proposed manufacturing system. How dowe set the stage for you to be sure? With a test machining trial inour technology-centre for example. We are permanently testingnew ways to machine components, try out tools and verify theaccuracies we promise to achieve. And before you decide, theremust be no worries about the decision for an SW machine.

Design work holding fixtures, build them, test them, improve themin production and reuse this experience. A closed loop processwhich we have run through countless times. Only this way yougain true machining competence. By build-in, permanent monito-ring mechanisms we detect misplaced parts, be they manuallyloaded or by an automation system. Locating devices can ensurethat the work pieces are located properly.

The design of our fixtures will convince you that in combinationwith an SW machine you will reliably manufacture high qualityparts over many years.

Our in-house competence to layout the best cutting tools for yourtask is another integral part of a successful solution. Challenge usand we will prove to you that the clamping concept, cycle timesand quality levels we promised will truly be achieved. Togetherwith cutting tool manufacturers we will make statements for thesuitability and durability of the planned tools be it for automotive, industrial or aerospace applications. Do you aim for improvement? Can we machine your part on a four-spindle MC? Is it too danger-ous or simply not possible to try-out a new process or cuttingtool in your daily production?
