Dear Sir/Madam,
Maciej Wieczorkowski is working in “Tektonika Architekci” architectural office as an apprentise for three years. In our company he is mostly dealing with three-dimensional representation of projects and during the time of his collaboration with the company he helped to develop and present several projects of different character.
MMaciej is a very useful employee. Collaboration with him is easy and efficient. He has profound knowledge of two- and three-dimensional graphical software and presents interesting ideas, both: during conceptual phase of the design and while preparing their presentations.
In conclusion, I would like to recommend Maciej Wieczorkowski as an employee for any architectural office.
Yours faithfully,AArch. Sławomir Florkiewicz

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter at the request of Maciej Wieczorkowski who is applying for a position at your office.
AsAs an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology I was supervising Maciej’s work on three course projects, which were rated with high grades. Maciej Always chooses ambitious themes and demonstrates interesting approach to a design task. He focuses on process of investigating different solutions to address the project’s conditions and limitations. Maciej’s finished projects show fine theorrtical knowlegde of architectural and consctruction solutions and proficiency in using digital tools for visualitions and presentations.
InIn summary, I recommend Maciej Wieczorkowski as an employee for an architectural studio.

To be able to compare, choose and improve proposed models, we developed computer scripts which calculated basic urban parameters (such as: open space ratio, number of corner units or terraces and percent of facade which sun lighted) for every model. Performance of our proposal is listed below.
Main purpose of this research project was to challenge the dominant way of thinking about mass and void distribution in the high density urban structures. Usually, urbanists tend to

To verify potentials of the parameters system we created entire generation of structures by adjusting different parameters.
With one of the parameters locked, we could obtain and analyse system extremes to establish proper compromise between parameters values.

At the end of the design process, we presented the work in the form of comparative exhibition of the whole studio. Each group created a model of 1:300 scale using LEGO blocks as a building material. Additionally, we developed a poster showing relations between different parameters models, and their performance.

Stap 2: Stap 3: Stap 1: Het plaatmateriaal is brand-veilig polypropyleen.
Project aims in achieving functionality and spatial richness of large apartment in small area housing unit. To achieve this goal we created a multimodal housing. Project was developed in design studio focused on interactive systems and rapid prototyping.
Main idea of our group proposal was to investigate materials to developa flat plate which, after applying a simple force could transform into three-dimensional structure. This way we could design many types of furniture and store them without wasting apartment space.
During the design process we focused on polypropylene - material used in a tictac lid, which can bend multiple times and do not loose its structural capabilities.
Goal of our group was achieved by combining cuts and engravings. This way form of the flat plate would transform while bending - resolving in flat surface which can be used as chair or desk. We can control the form of the furniture by adjusting cutting and folding lines.

Using possibilities of our furniture panel we designed a floor plan layout with different functional elements which can be adjusted in real-time to fit all users’ needs. We developed several basic configurations which we found useful in everyday situations, however the scheme allows for more arrangements.

Cracow is becoming a city of photography. One of the biggest event in the city agenda is the City Photography Month resulting in increased interest in photography among citizens and tourist. However there is a lack of professional facilities which respond to growing need. This is why I decided to design a large, professionally equipped facility for photography education and exhibition.

This project of redevelopment of old theatre warehouse is an interplay of old and new elements in the building. As first step, I removed existing, temporary floors, including ground floor level, and placed a new volume for projection room in the middle of an existing space. In this simple way I created an interesting arrangement offering different impressions. To enforce the effect I decided to perforate only existing wall to provide different views into the main hall.

The main design intention was to create a cheap and easily trasportable structure which would be suitable to the desert climate. We decided to combine a light structure cube with configurable interior and a tent for shadow during day and air buffer during the night.
After developing a matrix of possible actions we chose important and neglected sites and applied suitable strategies.
Main idea for the project was to use different signs found on the site - those which function in public space, like: parking spots or fences and literal ones. During the workshops we created a matrix of actions which could influence use and form of public space.
