What is Mcroscop?
Mcroscop professional IP
camera video management
software,that performs the
processing, analysis, storage and
display of video.
Macroscop emerged as a
technological startup
that
managed to solve the basicproblem of IP-based video
surveillance - low computational
efficiency of these systems.
IP systems as opposed to analog
systems produce a large amount of
data encoding operations.
Macroscop developers have
developed a new technology to
reduce the amount of data
encoding operations to a required
minimum.
Macroscop algorithms for video
streams processing allow to
efficiently analyze the datawithout full decompression and
significantly increase the speed of
processing.

WhyMcroscop?
Macroscop employs innovative
technology of video stream
processingwithout complete
decompression.The application of
this technology results in increase of
data processing speed, therefore
theload on the central processor
reduces by four times on average.
With Macroscop you can connect
four times more camerasto one
serveror use less high-powered,
more cost-effective processors to
reduce the costs on server
equipment.

Macroscop IP video management
software works with any IP camera
(more than 3,000 models from
over 130 brands, ONVIF and PSIA
support). There is no limit to how
large your system can be.
Reliability
Real time system health
monitoring, server backup and
replication as well as the
possibility
of using RAID-array and network-
attached storageensure failover
and the safety of your data.

Mcroscopoperation scheme
Macroscop allows you to build an IP
video surveillance system of any
size, from just one to an unlimited
number of IP cameras, servers and
workstations.
Macroscop video management
software consists of two parts:
licensed server software and free of
charge client software.
To create a video surveillance
system you will need IP-cameras
and Macroscop software for the
server which will perform data
processing and video archiving.
Cameras that can be installed
anywhere willtransmit data to a
server via Internet or a LAN
channel.
To watch the video in real time, as
well as browse the archive a user
needs to install the Macroscop
client software on a computer,
mobile phoneor use the web-client.

Cameras at remote sites are connected to servers located at those sites (except
for cameras at site 4, which has no server; a remote server is connected to these
cameras by means of Dynamic DNS technology). Customers can view the

Features of Macroscopintelligent modules
Face recognition
The face recognition module automatically
identifies optimal frames from the video
stream (reference images). Such images are
stored in a database for subsequent
identification. Highly-accurate recognition is
possible due to the application of innovative
technology that biometrically indexes facial
features.
Crowd counter
The Crowd Counter Module warns of
dangerous situations and mass unrest on city
streets, in squares, parks, train stations, retail
locations and in other public spaces. The
function automatically notifies the operator
should the quantity of people exceed an
indicated limit. Two limit values may be
indicated that will generate an "Attention" or
"Alarm" signal.
Face detection
Automatically selects faces from the video
stream. User is able to select cameras and time
zones to search for faces detected by camera;
generate face database; select a face of interest
and playback all records wherein this face was
detected.
Queue counter
Automatically notifies operator should the
quantity of people exceed an indicated limit in
a given queue, allows to make reports. Allows
to predict the crowding at cash desks, separates
up to six detection zones for one camera.
Generation of reports for the selected period
and detection zone(s).
Tracking
Tracks moving objects within the camera's field
of view. Generates alerts upon crossing lines
and borders (one way or both ways). Entering
the dedicated zone, long stay in the zone, alert
search in archive. Interactive archive search of
crossing of lines set by the operator.
Car plates recognition
Designed to automatically recognize and record
license plates that enter an IP camera's field of
view. Events log. Database of car plates.
Different settings per each car plate, creation of
car plates lists. Interception. Barrier gate
management with the list of car plates or by
command of the operator.
7/24/2019 Macroscop Booklet English Version With Links
13/15
Abandoned object detector
Designed to locate abandoned objects, allows
to prevent dangerous situation in crowded
places. The time limit of presence of an
abandoned object can be set, the excess of the
time limit will result in generation of alarm
event.
Loud sound detection
Displays on the screen the current level of sound
for each channel. Allows to set up a reaction on
excess of the set sound limit (e.g. start recording
video to archive, display the alarm signal on the
monitor of operator, send sms ore-mail).
Heat map
Feature is particularly relevant for the sphere of
retail, transport infrastructure. It allows to
evaluate the activity of the movement, to
identify the main streams of people movement.
Area with the maximum traffic density are
highlighted in red.
Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera control
The PTZ camera control module saves
money on additional equipment and
controls movement with the use of a
standard gaming joystick.
Interactive similar object search andinterception
Significantly speed up and simplify object
searches in the archive. Upload a photo of the
object into the software (person, car, any
moving object) or indicate its color, dimensions,
position in the frame, and the system will
recognize all objects contained in
recordings from every camera that are similar to
it. In the interception mode, the system will
make an alarm if similar object appears
in the field of camera view.
Mobile web clients
Mobile Macroscop web clients are free of
charge; supported formats: MJPEG, MPEG-4,
H.264. Real time playback. Additional
functions:- archive playback acceleration x20, x10
deceleration
- screen-shot
- playbak frame rate setup
- support of old and new operation systems
Applications for Smart TV
Application for Smart TV Samsung allows to
view video from IP cameras on a regular TV.

People counting
The people counting module enables user to
identify the number of incoming and exiting
people in real time and also to generate
statistics of people staying in a building, entering it
or exiting from it. Reports can be generated for any
period of time from one or several cameras.
Personnel activity control
Allows to monitor real time activity of staff at the
workplace in the preset zones, generate reports.
Permits up to six detection zones for each camera.
Fish-eye dewarp
Helps to view unlimited number of dewarped flat
frames instead of one distorted, or to magnify
views of dewarped zones in different parts of the
grid. "Virtual PTZ" function helps to make a
frame-per-frame view of all zones of camera
picture - just like with "usual" PTZ-camera.
