As a senior heattended Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson,Va., where he drew attention from college coaches . In 2006 after his sophomore year at UK rondo declared for the NBA draft . He already proved himself to be great with hisunbelievably large hands long fingers great ball-handling skills speed and quickness he wasready for the NBA . There was a team who couldnot keep there eyes off him the Boston Celtics .the first season Rajon rondo had with the BostonCeltics was a learning experience .His first start was on Feb 2 .
