DEFORESTATION

Deforestation is the cutting down of trees for different

purposes for e.g. for Furniture, Land etc.

People cut forests for

many reasons. One of

them is because of

agriculture. They cut

forests for money.

WHY ARE FORESTS CUT DOWN?

LETS HAVE A LOOK AT MORE CAUSES OF DEFORESTATION.

MORE CAUSES OF DEFORESTATION!!

DEFORESTATION

Companies dig the forest in search of fossil fuels such as

oil etc.

The loggers clear the forests for land as the population of

the world is increasing.

The loggers cut down the forests for wood that is used to make furniture, glues etc.

EFFECTS OF DEFORESTATION ON ANIMALS!!

The effects of

Deforestation are on

all living things in this

world but the main

effect is on the

animals…

Desertification occurs and they become homeless because of deforestation.

Some animals die because of climate change that occurs because of deforestation.

They face problem in

getting their food as

most of them get food

from trees.

MORE EFFECTS OF DEFORESTATION…

There is less oxygen in the

atmosphere and more carbon

dioxide.

Floods are caused as the soil

now can’t absorb water and

the climate becomes hot.

There are many other effects

of deforestation as well.

THINK ABOUT IT!!

Have you ever imagined How would you feel with no lungs at all? If you know similar is happening to the Earth as its trees which are its lungs are getting cut down day by day in most places of the world and people don’t even care!

SOLUTIONS

You know that trees have

been started to cut down

through many years but

now there is a solution to

stop deforestation and

that is cutting less trees or

maybe even recycling

materials which are not in

use.

BEST SOLUTION

The best solution to deforestation is

a word that might not be common so

much and that word is

REFORESTATION or AFOREATATION

which is planting more and more

trees and it is also said “cut one tree

and plant two”.

EXPLAIN AND TELL THEM WHAT THEY ARE
