As a leading manufacturer of process and conveyor belts, Ammeraal Beltech has developed the next generation of splice equipment, called
Maestro
Improved splice quality - Increased speed and efficiency A winning combination
With Maestro, shrinkage of fingers is reduced during the splicing process, resulting in a stronger splice.
With Maestro splice equipment, Ammeraal Beltech has made a leap forward in the critical areas of quality, efficiency/speed, and precision.Maestro splice equipment is specially designed for splicing of Ammeraal Beltech process and conveyor belts both on site and in the workshop.
Improved quality and efficiency benefits include:
Consistent, reliable splice results and superior belt appearance
Short cycle time: Most belts 6-10 minutes depending on electrical configuration
Less shrinkage of fingers, providing stronger, flatter splices
No fiberglass sheets or other splice plates necessary
Onsite benefits include:
Lightweight
No water cooling necessary
Less production downtime

Control Units
Control units with Maestro splice equipment are available in five different power versions and two types: Time Method and Time/Temperature Method.
With the Time/Temperature Method, the belt temperature is controlled along with the top and bottom plate temperatures.
The control unit used with the Time/Temperature Method, incorporates a thermocouple, allowing the user to precisely control the temperature of the splice area on the belt.
