Magazine music style• The style of music I have decided to use for my music magazine is

Alternative/Indie Pop. I have chosen this as I am interested by this style of music and the artists. I also enjoy listening to mainstream pop music and Indie Pop such as Bastille, Twenty One Pilots and Lorde. I am inspired by the Pop Rock and Indie Rock band The 1975 as I think this style of music is a modern take on Rock, with interesting lyrics and combining different sounds of Rock, Pop and Electropop to create a modern album of “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it”. I do not want to create a magazine styled on The 1975, instead I want to use this band as inspiration to create a magazine which represents more artists from the Alternative/ Indie Pop genre.
