‘Vogue’ being a well known andpopular magazine attracting those that are into fashion and the latest trends gaining their target audiences from this. It doesn’t necessarily need to be someone that is a hard-core fashion lover, anyone that has gained and interest and is browsing through. But it’s nearly always targeted towards the female gender.

A older and mature looking women is being shown on the front cover telling us that they’re looking for a target audience of mature and grown people.(mainly females I'm guessing) She also looks quite classy and fashionable.

The font is professional and sophisticated looking. Simple but bold, edgy and readable all at the same time. Ensuring that this look catches the eyes of potential readers and buyers.

The context page is also easy and understandable, this allows you to find your interests faster, also how they made the font bold for the titles and the opposite for the actual context.

The font and the way the magazine title is written is quite appealing, bright and eye catching. This gains the magazine an audience which then on results in future buyers meaning profit is easily made.

The photos that are being used on this contents page contain bright bubbly colours that look quite exceptional and have a hazy effect to it that gives off a unique feel gaining potential buyers from this.

‘Elle’ is also a very popular and well known magazine among not only the fashion lovers, but everyone and anyone. This cover practically put females onto the front cover, suggesting that they look for female target audiences and are even maybe biased towards them.

Once again like the previous magazine you can easily differentiate between the sub headings and the actual context as the subheadings are perky and bold.

The overall structure of this content page looks very chic and well put together. The font is fancy and elegant looking giving us the impression that it was definitely produced by an expert.

The photos they've chosen to put onto this context page show us that the target audience they're trying to appeal to are clearly fashion and beauty lovers, the models look very classy giving off the impression that once again we’re dealing with qualified people.

The title of the magazine is positioned at the top ensuring it is visible and the first thing you spot. Once again they have used simple but bold and striking colours like black and red these colours sure do fit perfectly with the theme of fashion that they portray through this magazine

I do think how they content page itself is positioned in this way gives off a certain uniqueness and informs us that this magazine is very professional and down to business. Once again you’re easily able to differentiate between the subheadings and what is being talked about there allowing pages to be found much quicker pleasing the reader

Magazine name: Entertainment weekly

Image: Takes up most of the front cover, very striking figure is being shown its a close up and an easily recognisable actress printed on it. She is also the only thing in focus giving us the impression that she is the main hub of this front cover and should put all your eyes on her.

Cover lines: the word ‘exclusive!’ is written clearly in big bold characters highlighting what the publishers want the audience to look at first and concentrate on. it’s positioned underneath the magazine name telling us it’s the first thing you should look at afterwards.

Title: positioned at the very top of the magazine cover in large, valiant and striking font meaning it cannot be easily missed. Brings in target audience which are obviously fans of The Hunger Games.

Tagline: positioned underneath the magazine name in small unnoticeable font meaning it may not be as important as the other characteristics of this front cover.

Date: positioned underneath the title, in incredibly miniature font size, isn’t so obvious but it is positioned in a appropriate place which doesn’t get in the way of the main aspects of this cover.

Magazine name: Top of the PopsImage: the main star image takes up most of the front cover a very well known an popular artist that can easily be recognised is the mainly focused person on the front cover this grabs the attention of his fans and/or fans of other artists that are being shown on the cover.Cover lines: the word “SHOCK” is written in giant font and it’s also a different colour from the rest of the writing in bright orange making it stand out, positioned on the image but it isn’t covering much not taking any attention away from the main star of the cover. And also the word “WIN!” stands out a lot because of the exclamation mark but not only that, the font that has been used and the colour plus the outer red highlighted section making it un miss able.Tag line: positioned at the very top in readable font/size it’s asking the audience a question interacting with this a good strategy used to gain potential buyers. Doesn’t take up a lot of space.Date/ Price: They’re both positioned next to each other in very petit font size and it’s hardly noticeable meaning it isn't really important and shouldn’t be focused on, also it’s positioned at the very bottom of the page.

Magazine name: Vogue Korea

Image: positioned in the centre and takes up most of the front cover, it’s also very appealing how there is a blank background behind her tells us you should focus your eyes on her.

Cover lines: red/black font colour is used making it look noticeable and also the style of the font is quite elegant and is mostly used in fashion magazines like Vogue. Although it’s not necessarily in English it just stands out for me.

Title: positioned below both the magazine name and the cover lines, it takes up some of the page but not all, the “15th” part of it is highlighted in red meaning it’s the most important part of the title. I really like the font they have used for the title it looks really classy and chic a very common thing for fashion magazines.

Tagline: Positioned near the magazine name, almost unnoticeable (although not in English) takes up hardly any space showing it isn't that important. Date: Positioned at the bottom of the page in small font making it un obvious that it’s there telling us it shouldn’t be focused on.
