All of the magazines that wil l fol low this sl ide wil l have varying features that wil l help me to create my magazine and make it as appealing to my target audience as possible. I am going to look at some fashion magazines, some events magazines and some regional magazines as these are al l genres that my finished magazine would be able to fit into.

MAGAZINE INSPIRATIONS

From this magazine, I am able to take the fac ia l expression that the model has as it would fit wel l with the genre of my magazine. When I come to do the photo shoot for the front cover, I wi l l request the model to have a s imilar fac ia l expression as I th ink that i t looks invit ing and fr iendly which is the aura that I wish for my magazine to possess.

From this magazine, I am able to take the background that has been used. I want my magazine to have an autumnal theme throughout and the best way for me to portray this would be by having a background on the front cover as It immediately showcases the t ime of the photo shoot thus clari fying what is the main feature of the magazine, being an autumnal edit ion.

From this magazine, I am able to take the size and scale of the masthead in comparison to everything else on the page. As my magazine wi l l include some events, I wi l l use a s imi lar size masthead so i t can be dist inguished as being similar to this magazine, another events magazine.

This magazine includes any regional aspects which my magazine also must include. I am going to us the features of places from this magazine and use the places that would apply to my own magazine on the front cover which would make a clear l ink between the region and the magazine thus making i t a regional magazine.
