Few have been imitated as often as the legendary MarilynMonroe.Throughouthercareer,theAmerican-born beauty worked as an actress, producer and singer who achieved her international breakthrough by playing the leading role in the movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”.AccordingtotheAmericanFilmInstitute,theplatinumblondecinemaiconofthe50sisamongstthe25greatestfemalestars,eventoday.Herfascinatinglifeiscurrentlyonthebigscreeninthedrama“MyWeekWithMarilyn”withMichelleWilliamsasthelead.

Norma Jean Baker, as was her real name, mastered the art of putting herself in the spotlight, which is why shewassoadoredbyphotographers.Herstylingand

stunning curves are still considered to be the embodimentofsensuousness.

Weloveherphilosophythat“beautyandfemininityareagelessandcan‘tbecontrived”.Yetaboveallelse, we adore her certainty of style: Marilyn Monroe prefer red to adorn herself in shades of champagne – elegant blouses, polka dot dresses and pencil skirts wereamongstherfavouritepieces.Whencombinedwith the proper accessories like a bow or extravagant scarf, shesimplytookeveryone’sbreathaway.

Inshort,MarilynMonroeisanunmistakablecultfigurewhosestyleandpersonalityremainunforgettable.

look aT Those legsAre you quite content with your legs, but not really the best of friends with your middle? Then come let us show you to distract away from the belly while skilfully putting the spotlight on your legs!

dressesWhenitcomestodresses, the only issue you have is havingtodecide!Whethershort or long, you can wear whateveryourheartdesires. You can sport empireline cuts without a care in the world.Avoidabulky-lookingsilhouette by keeping away from designs that are too wide-cut.

Jackets & coatsYou can magically create a gorgeous hourglassfigurebywearingjacketsandcoats that are singlebreasted and slightly fitted.Trenchcoatsareparticularlyflattering with their wide, waistenhancing tie beltsforsculptingasassysilhouette.

trousersIdeally, you should wear trousers with a button that hits above the belly button – a trick for instantly hiding awayacoupleofpounds.Feel free to wear leggings anddrainpipejeans, justtake care that they are not toolow-rise.Shorts,caprisand cropped bottoms can skilfully highlight your legs and distract away from yourmiddle.

skirtsBe it a tight skirt or a maxi model, they are both perfect at distracting away from any little extras around the tummyarea.Itiskeyheretofindaproperlyfittedwaistband that provides the bellywithsomesupport.Pencil skirts, for example, look sensational when combined with a longer cuttop.

blouses & shirtsYou can wear any top that drapes loosely from the bust down.Inshort, choosebreezycuts that lightly dance about yourupperbody.Smocking, frills and additional little details can also help spice up the outfit.Incontrast,avoidelabo-rately draped fabrics around thebellyarea.Pieceswithvertical seams will give you a slimmer looking result!

Judith is a full-fledged fan of hippie fashion:

“I am really excited about the hippie fashion trendbecausenowIcanfinallyfindlongskirtsand dresses while shopping! I am not so fond of showingoffmylegs, butduringthesummer,Ijustdonotfeelcomfortablewearingtrousers.Longskirtsaretheperfectalternative:theyarebreezyand not too tight, yet I still do not have to show too much skin!”
