The%Unity%Project%for%M.A.G.I.%&The!Unity!Project!is!the!creating!and!teaching!of!sustainable!feminine!hygiene!products!to!women!living!in!poverty.!!A!Unity!pad!is!a!simple,!but!effective,!washable!menstrual!pad!made!by!our!Dorcas!sewing!groups.!This!project!unifies!women!around!the!world!on!a!very!personal!level.!It!is!part!of!the!beautiful!cycle!of!life!in!America,!but!in!rural!Africa!and!India!it!takes!away!from!life.!Girls!can't!go!to!school!and!mothers!can't!walk!for!water.!Their!desperate!alternative!choices!in!hygiene!products!put!them!at!risk!of!serious!illnesses.!Girls!miss!up!to!two!months!of!school!every!year!due!to!lack!of!feminine!hygiene!products.!As!we!all!know,!education!is!a!major!factor!in!changing!the!lives!of!young!women.!!

Basic!Instructions:!Secure!tNshirt!on!a!cup!or!hoop,!then!color!any!pattern!inside!the!circle.!Next,!drip!approximately!10!drops!of!rubbing!alcohol!in!the!center!of!your!design!and!watch!the!colors!spread.!Then,!heat!set!the!colors!by!tossing!the!shirts!in!the!dryer!for!20!minutes.!
