1. Regulations Consultancy: The state of the art
International product trading needs compliance with specific local standards which in many cases do not match with international or European standards. A good knowledge of a wide range of standards that are constantly updated, is required as well as the management of a lot of complex local certifications.

2. Product Certification

3. Pre-shipment Inspections (PSI) and Certificates of Conformity (CoC) for customs.
Governments are implementing PSI and CoC programs to ensure that imports comply with their regulations. PSI or CoC are required for customs clearance depending on the countries. Applus+ will perform:
Algeria: Pre-Shipment Inspection and Quality Certificate.
Saudi Arabia. Pre-Shipment Inspection, Laboratory Testing and SASO’s Certificate of Conformity.

4. Quality management for imports from China, Morocco and Turkey:
We ensure the quality of the merchandise by inspection from when it is manufactured until it is loaded in the container. We verify at source that products fulfill the quality specifications defined by the client, performing or overseeing production line tests if necessary. Applus+ technicians will checkthat goods are properly loaded in terms of models and quantities and that the bulk packages are properly handled. If necessary Applus+ technicians will outsource the fully quality management.

PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONChina- CCC Compulsory Certification
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) is in charge of national quality, certification and accreditation.
CCC Mark is applied to products related to human life and health, animals, plants, environmental protection and national security. Any product covered by the Catalogue should acquire the CCC Mark before it can be marketed, imported or used for any commercial purposes in China.
The CCC mark is required for both domestically manu factured products and products imported into China, Products not meeting CCC requirements may be held at the border by Chinese Customs and will be subject to other penalties.
The CCC Mark is administered by the Chinese Government Agency Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). The China Quality Certification Center (CQC) is designated by CNCA to process CCC mark applications and accreditation.
Introduced by the AQSIQ and fully effective on August 1, 2003, the CCC Mark is the result of the integration of China's two old compulsory inspection systems: "CCIB“ and "CCEE” .

Only Chinese companies can issue the CCC certificates.
The process can take 90 to 180 days depending on the product.
A great amount of documents and tests are needed.
Lab tests at accredited laboratories in China are required. There are only 18 laboratories allowed to perform type testing. Generally does not permit self certification or third-party testing results.
Requires a factory inspection by CQC officials at the applicant's
expense , and follow-up inspections every twelve to eighteen months.

One: Determine Whether Your Products Require CCC Marking. First, examine CNCA's Product Catalogue. Frequently, the descriptions are not specific enough, so it could be necessary to check tables linking Harmonized System (HS) codes to products which require the CCC mark, or to review the 47 booklets CNCA's "Implementation Rules“ (in chinese language).
Be aware that component parts of a manufacturer's finished products mayrequire CCC certification. Also be aware that spare parts and replacement parts shipments may in some cases require certification, or application for an exemption.
Three: Consider Your Options for Applying. The process is complex and long. Applus+ can help you to manage your CCC mark applications, saving time and expenses.
Two: Note Other additional Technical Requirements: China has multiple certification schemes. The CCC mark is the widest-ranging certification requirement, but your product may have to meet other requirements and tests as well. For example, "Network Access License" and "Network Access Identifier Mark," for telecom and internet devices. Similarly, China's State Drug Administration requires product registration for certain medical devices.

Manufacturers can also add value to products that do not fall within the CCC mark remit. China operates a voluntary product certification mark scheme –the China Quality Certification (CQC) mark.
CQC Mark is a voluntary product certification processed and audited in exactly the same way as the CCC mark.
Even if a product does not need the CCC certificate problems can appear at the Chinese customs. It also might be necessary to show partners and customers in China that a specific product meets quality standards.
The CQC Mark certifies that the product is in accordance with the requirements of the standards of quality, safety, environment and performance.
The CQC Mark involves more than 500 products.
