WELCOME
In order to cater for the water needs of over 16 million people in Lagos State, it is essential that the Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) communicates regularly with their customers about their challenges or give their customers needed information.
THE PROBLEM• The LSWC is facing a huge challenge
because of its lack of capacity to manage their infrastructural details with respect to the sheer size of the end users to be managed.
• Thus it takes days for LSWC to learn of burst pipes, pressure loss and other customer side problems.
• Also the customers are unaware of the basic water facilities that are available around them.
OUR SOLUTION• An application that enables users
report water-related issues to LSWC
• An application that helps users find water-related assets
• An online mapping tool to display reports of users depending on the category.
HOW IT WORKS• Provides LSWC an interface to map
out possible problematic areas and help them plan better.
Allows Users to access/query database by sending a formatted message to a special SMS code
User Sends -> predefined number
Message -> Water Resource : User's Location(s)
Message -> Bore hole : Mushin
System -> Location of 5 nearest water resource location
• Web map of feature services for location and attributes of accessible water on Mobile App (In Development).
