Provision of an Reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edge of road, approaches to bridge structures and medians, constructed with M30 grade concrete with HYSD reinforcement conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia. 450mm long at expansion joints filled with premoulded asphalt filler board , keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular No. RW/NH -33022/1/94-DO III dated 24 june 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by engineer, all as specified etc. complete.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete on prepared surface with specified graded crushed stone aggregates premixed with bituminous binder as per job Mix formula and 2% filler lime or cement by weight of total aggregate as per job mix. Transporting the mix to the work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher to the required grade level and alignment, rolling with roller to achieve the desired compactions per MORT &H specification complete in all respect excluding cost of tack coat. (The Rate is for Bitumen Content @ 5.0% by weight of total mix)

Providing & laying 25 mm thick Mastic Asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen 14% by wt. of mix , filler, fine & coarse aggregate , meeting the requirements given in table 500-29 of MORT&H specifications, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surface is not less than 1000C, protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface etc. complete, excluding tack coat . (Mix design is required for each case).
