Make a Chatterbox The following pages contain three different SA Water chatterboxes for children to construct. Page 2- The Water Saving chatterbox which teaches us how to save water around the home Page 3- The Animal chatterbox which teaches us about the native species in our waterways and how to protect them Page 4- The Water Cycle chatterbox which teaches us about the natural water cycle To correctly print your desired chatterbox, select the individual pages you would like to print and ensure the page settings are set to A3 size and full colour. Once printed, follow these instructions to construct your chatterbox: Step 1. Trim the blank paper to produce a square
Step 2. Fold the square from the Blue corner down to the Orange corner, unfold and
fold from the Pink corner to the Green corner
Step 3. Lay the chatterbox out flat, with the colours and numbers facing down
Step 4. Fold each corner in to the centrepoint of the paper, which will form a square
Step 5. Turn the chatterbox over and fold each corner in to the centre point of the
square again
Step 6. Fold the chatterbox in half so that the colours are on the outside
Step 7. Now it’s ready to play!
