Ben Mardall
Chairman of Wild Scotland. Ben's enthusiasm for the countrysideand wildlife has influenced his career and personal life. He brings awealth of experience in wildlife tourism including Head Ranger at theScottish Deer Centre in Fife. Tourism and Commercial Manager forBuccleuch Estates in the Scottish Borders and running his own ruraltourism consultancy business across Scotland. Ben is currentlyworking for the Falkirk Community Trust develping the Helix Park,home to the Kelpies.
Carron Tobin
Carron set up ruralDimensions Ltd in 2009 after devoting 15 years ofher career to the establishment and early development of Scotland'sfirst National Park - where she championed the Park's socio-economicagenda and also was Project Director for Carrochan where today’sevent takes place. Carron has been freelance development managerwith Argyll & the isles Tourism Cooperative since 2012 and developedthe award winning Wild About Argyll campaign with endurance cyclistMark Beaumont. She is currently leading the West Coast Waterscollaboration which brings together over 30 DMO and public sectorpartners and is supported by Wild Scotland.
Stuart leads on all aspects of Planning, Community Development,Tourism and Built Heritage at Loch Lomond & The TrossachsNational Park Authority.Having joined the Authority in 2009, he hasbeen instrumental in establishing the planning service as a highlyregarded operation.Stuart has led key initiatives to drivecollaborative place based projects and strategies across the Park’sarea. This has included a series of co-design ‘charrette’ events, tothe innovative LIVE Park project that delivered the currentDevelopment Plan and a bespoke strategy for renewable energy.

A multi- site hospitality and high street retail operator for manyyears, Patrick has had several roles in VisitScotland and now workswith industry to develop their ability to deliver business growththrough Digital. It’s about simple practical adoptions rather than thenewest shiniest thing – technology and the internet can beharnessed to make your life easier and at the same time get you newcustomers and grow your business.
Chris Richards
Chris Richards is the Manager of Enterprise Sales - EMEA atFareHarbor, the largest online booking software for tours andactivities in the world. Chris joined FareHarbor in 2016 as anAccount Executive in Needham, MA when FareHarbor had only2500 clients and under 100 employees. He helped bring FareHarborto 100s of companies and has taken part in growing the company toover 10,000 clients and 600 employees globally. Chris relocated toAmsterdam in 2018 as part of FareHarbor’s sale to Booking.com andhas been integral to FareHarbor’s success in Europe. Prior toFareHarbor, Chris worked in software implementation for hospitalsystems.
Nik Turner
Nik Turner is Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park’s firstLitter Prevention Manager. Her role involves taking a strategicapproach to preventing litter and bringing together stakeholders fromacross the National Park to take coordinated action. Although she’snew to the National Park, she’s already gotten stuck in, perhapsmost notably with the “What To Do When You Need A Poo” project. Prior to coming to the National Park, Nik led the development ofenvironmental charity’s Keep Scotland Beautiful’s behaviour changecampaigns.
Shane Wasik
Shane’s background is Marine Biology, completing his honoursdegree in 2003. He attained scientific and commercial divingqualifications in 2001 but started diving as a wee laddie in 1996. Hisqualifications include BSAC First Class Diver and AdvancedInstructor, along with technical and rebreather diving. He has workedin many different fields including fishery and environmentalprotection, aquariums, underwater and travel photographyand shipwreck disaster response along with organising divingexhibitions. He also has a long list of boating qualifications includingCommercial Skippers Licence. His experiences with basking sharkshas driven him to enable others to share the breathtaking experienceof seeing these gentle giants in the wild.
EXHIBITORS

After working in the businessfor 2 years they assembled a team and together they set out tocreate the largest booking management system worldwide forattractions and activity providers to better serve their customers whileincreasing online revenue. Today, FareHarbor has joined theBooking Holding family and supports more than 10,000 clientsaround the world from its offices in Hawaii, San Francisco, Denver,Minneapolis, Boston, Amsterdam and Sydney.
