An event exclusively for accepted students and their families, Make It Mercer goes beyond the traditional campus visit.

Hear from the parents of current mercer students, and ask them all of your

questions in an open-forum discussion. Learn everything you need to know about Student Support

Services—dedicated to your student’s academic, health, social, and psychological well-being—in fun,

short, and interactive sessions.

Make plans to join us on Saturday, April 13, for

Make It Mercer!After lunch, join us for a Block Party in Mercer Village.

Check out all of our great dining spots, and take advantage of special

pricing in our retail shops. Make sure you stop by the bookstore to

stock up on Mercer gear for you and your family!

Later, head over to Tatnall Square Park for one of our students’ favorite

traditions, BearStock 2013. This annual outdoor music festival

is free of charge, and you

won’t want to miss it!

camp chairs and enjoy an

evening of live music in the

park with your family and

new friends!)

Parents! We have a full day planned for you, too.

Come together with many other new Mercerians for:

• Breakfast and kick-off celebration with Mercer University President William D. Underwood, Mercer athletic coaches, Mercer Mascot Toby the Bear, and other special guests;

• Q & A with current Mercer students about transitioning to life at Mercer and a crash course on getting involved;

• “Speed-dating” party for potential roommates;

• Summer Orientation registration;

• A scholarship recognition ceremony; and

We’re making it official! All attendees will receive their Mercer ID, the BearCard.

A family room will be available for family members attending with younger children.
