True End-Point Clot Detection Signature Elite uses a mechanical-optical method to detect a true end-point clot. Compared to other platforms that use an electrochemical method to detect a thrombin substrate, Signature Elite’s detection method actually reflects the formation of a fibrin clot. This provides confidence that the target time results are measured from an accurate representation of the clotting process.
