Making a Living
We're using creative methods to uncover your experiences on how you cope with trying to make a living. We'll use these to develop scenarios and a guide on how, through the process of coping with the crisis, young people are creating new ways of making a living. Individual members and local groups can participate by

Develop scenarios of different types of futures for young people
Stories describing four alternative scenarios of the future on how young people can make a living in 2020
Examples of Scenario Stories and Scenarios
Work with a designer to produce four different How to Make a Living In 2020 Scenarios based on the research outputs & written/visual content from the activities below (see Project Activities)
These will be accompanied by “Day in the Life of...” stories of imaginary characters representing each scenario, produced by a storyteller and imaginary neighbourhoods of the feature based on the visuals collected.
A “How would you make a living in 2020” Game will be developed using above content - based on urban game techniques in the neighbourhoods where the content was produced.

Design a guide of methods on how to develop creative ways to make a living
A guide of methods where people can use the different “cards” developed in the activities below to encourage young people in precarious work situations to develop creative ways to make a living
Share guide with other cities so they can use the guide with local members to develop ideas on creative ways to make a living
A Project Website, Design Methods Guide, Workshop Guide, Survey, Story Guide and Animation have been produced to enable groups to use the methods to participate in the project
+10 video interviews have been produced for a documentary on how people develop creative ways of coping
+20 audio interviews have been produced for an online radio show

60+ stories, +20 audio interviews and +10 video interviews have been produced so far. Local groups can still interview young people using our Methods Guide and Questions .
