Making an Account for Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC):
1. Log into one of the Bloomberg Terminals in Mandeville room 294 using your SJU student credentials
2. Once in the desktop main screen, open the Bloomberg APP by double-clicking the application
3. Once the Bloomberg application opens, create a new login using your SJU student email by clicking on “Create a New Login” located at the bottom-left of the screen

4. Follow the instructions on the screen with your personal information and then click “Next” at the bottom-right of the screen once finished. Note: be sure to remember what “Login Name” you’ve been assigned as you will need it to login later on.

5. You will then be promoted to choose a method of delivery for a confirmation code: email, text message, or automated phone call.
a. Input your verification code in the field provided once received. Click “Next” on the bottom-right of the screen once finished

6. You will now be prompted to create your password. Once you have created your password, click “Next” on the bottom-right of the screen.
7. Once the next screen loads, click “Login Now.” You will now be directed to the login page. Input your newly created login information and click “Login”

8. You are now in the main Bloomberg page
9. To open the BMC software:
a. Search for “BMC” at the top blue search bar
10. Click on the first search option under FUNCTIONS

11. You will be redirected to the BMC’s main page. You will not have to sign up for BMC by clicking on the “6) Sign Up” option on the left side menu.
You will then fill out your information in the following page.
12. If you were given a class code by your instructor, check the box below:
You will be prompted to enter the class code provided by your instructor:

Enter the Class Code and select “OK”.
13. Once you click “Sign Up” at the bottom right of the screen, you will be sent an activation code to the email address provided.
14. Once you enter the activation code, click “1) Activate Account”
You’re Ready to use BMC!
