Mapping Open Practice Introducing Ourselves ... 10 mins

• Use this colour scale to map your open practice on a scale from low to high and then introduce yourself to the group ...

I use and / or adapt OER’s

I create & share OER’s using CC Licences

I work with other people ( colleagues or students) who create and share OER’s using CC Licences

I support students in connecting & networking with others

What does a Champion Look Like ?

Group Activity Guided By LisParcell ( JISC)

In small groups create a rich image of what an OER/OEP Champion looks like, what they might do and what sort of support the network can give to them?

We will then discuss aspects of OEP that this activity has ‘drawn’ out over coffee .... No pun intended

Group Discussion

• What key aspects of OEP have arisen from each of the group activities ?

• What are the possible barriers and challenges and how these can be overcome ?

• What support can be given by the network to facilitate embedding practice in Wales ?

• How can we ensure sustainability of the work?

• Communication Channels ?
