Master of Arts in Leadership Has God called you to lead? Leadership takes multiple forms, but it always demands that we know how to develop, equip, and encourage others. The master of arts (MA) in leadership offers a customizable curriculum that will help you understand your own leadership style, develop your philosophy of leadership, and put solid leadership principles into practice —all seasoned and shaped by a sound core of biblical and theological studies. Whether you are called to lead in the church, parachurch, or public sector, this degree will provide you with the resources to lead in a way that honors God and accomplishes His purposes.

Master of Arts in Counseling Ministries The ministry of counseling occurs in a variety of settings other than licensed, professional therapy contexts. Church-based or parachurch ministries need staff who are trained to provide wise, biblically-informed guidance. The master of arts (MA) in counseling ministries provides a solid foundation of counseling courses with the well-rounded biblical and theological foundation of the MA core curriculum. Several elective options are available, offering the flexibility to tailor your education to different contexts, needs, or goals. The degree includes a supervised internship in a pastoral care and counseling context. If God is moving you toward a non-licensed counseling ministry, the MA in counseling ministries is a superb option.

Certificate in Biblical and Theological StudiesThe graduate certificate in biblical and theological studies was developed for those who want to know more about the Christian faith. It provides excellent preparation for many forms and contexts of ministry and is a great option for leaders already serving in ministry. It requires 20 hours of bible and theology core courses as well as 4 hours of electives.

Fully Accredited, Fully Online Degree OptionsThe pursuit of your master’s degree doesn’t need to uproot your life. Have you always wanted to take on an MDiv, MA, or graduate certificate but felt unsure if you could balance it amidst it all? Maybe relocating your family from your community for a degree could create unnecessary pressure. With Denver Seminary these questions and concerns can be met with a fully online, fully accredited solution. It’s an MDiv engineered to keep you fully engaged in learning while living in your community.
