Statement of Need: Practicing geriatrics and palliative medicine providers need to continually review topics and acquire updated material in order to maintain high standard of practice to care for the most vulnerable. Given the expanding volume of literature, it is crucial to highlight the most important recent advances to guide practice. This course will provide participants with information regarding the 4 M's of Geriatrics (Mind, Mobility, Medications, and What Matters Most).Through lecture and panel discussion from specialty leaders, this course will engage attendees in the review of important updates and best practices in the fields of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine.Program Objectives: All Northwell Health CME activities are intended to improve patient care, safety and outcomes.
