As we come close to the end of the liturgi-

cal year, the focus of our scriptures turns

towards the end-times. With the bare

trees and the onset of winter temper-

atures, it seems a natural inclination

to ponder the end lf all things. As

we move through our celebration

today, let us pray for strength to

face whatever comes in our future,

so that we may be ready for the com-

ing of the Lord.

Al acercarnos al final del año litúrgico el foco

central de nuestras Escrituras se vuelven hacia

el final de los tiempos. Con los arboles des-

hojados y el comienzo de las temperatu-

ras invernales parece que la inclinación

natural es reflexionar sobre el final de

todas las cosas. En el curso de nuestra

celebración de hoy, oremos a fin de
