Malachi 4:5-6 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

These Are The Days of Elijah

or…

Are these the Days of Elijah…?

Justin Martyr was a very prominent Christian at a time when Christianity was still in its infancy. Before Justin became a Christian he was a follower of the Greek philosophers.

He is described as "the most notable of the second century Christian defenders."

Justin Martyr lived approximately 100 AD.

He wrote a book titled The Dialogue with Trypho the Jew

"...But Christ - if he has indeed been born, and exists anywhere...has no power until Elijah comes to anoint him, and makes him manifest to all. And you, having accepted a groundless report, invent a Christ for yourselves, and for his sake are inconsiderately perishing."

[Ante Nicene Fathers, Vol. 1, p. 198]

“…anyone who claimed to be the Christ before Elijah the

Prophet had visibly returned from heaven –

would have to be a false Prophet.

Matthew 17:12-13 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

John DECLINED to acknowledge who he was – That he was Elijah!!

John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou

Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, NO.

Question is resolved by the SPIRIT & POWER

Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the SPIRIT and POWER of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

The POINT is: Who can KNOW?

ONLY by what is SPOKEN! Hear what is being PREACHED!!

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they

are spirit, and they are life.

It Becometh Us To Fullfil All Righteousness; 61-1001M: Par 82

“…In other words, “It must be fulfilled. All the Word that God has spoken, It must be fulfilled.” God cannot say anything without having it fulfilled. When He has spoken It, it is a finished work. It’s already finished when God speaks It. God never speaks until He’s ready for it to be; and, when He speaks, it’s just as well as already happened. Now, if that wouldn’t give us a basis to put our faith on this morning. When God speaks a Word, it’s already finished. And what about His promises that He’s given to us? Everything that He has said, it’s already a finished work. So therefore, when we receive His Word into our heart, it’s already done, it’s completed.

Gabriel quoted the Word!

Luke 1:16-17 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

The Maniac of Gadara: 54-0720A: Par E-11 Look in the little book, the first one I written called "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever," how the big newspapers of Louisville, Kentucky, and all, said, "A mystic light appears over a local Baptist minister while baptizing."When He stood down there and told me right there before at least ten thousand people, that this thing that was coming to pass, said, "Your ministry will be as John the Baptist was, was sent forth as a forerunner of the first coming of Christ; your ministry will be the bringing forth of the second coming of Christ."

Ashamed: 65-0711: Par 240 And as the little experience I had with You the other morning, "Go get my Son a Bride. Take It from among the people, among the churches. Pull out that Bride." Let me, in prayer now, Lord. You send the Rebekah; I'll try to be the Eliezer. Help me to be a faithful servant. And may the God of Heaven send His Angel before me, before us, that we will collect the things together and select the Bride that He has chosen. We ask it in Jesus' Name. Amen.

What if John had not come – How different things would be!

Never would have left LAW! Because the Lamb could not have COME!!

Still would be under DISPENSATION of Sinai – No Redeemer; No

FORGIVENESS; No mercy!

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

If John had NEVER come We would NEVER become a

Chosen Generation! A Royal Priesthood!

A Holy Nation

1 Peter 2:9-10

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Ephesians 3:3-6

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Colossians 1:25-27 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Matt 3:1-3

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. of sins.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

John 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.

Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Matt 3:11-13 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

The Breach; 63-0317E: Par 74-1 {39} Now, but it--it is a Book, a mysterious Book. It's a Book of Redemption. (We'll get into that in a little while.) And now, we know that this Book of Redemption will not be thoroughly understood: it's probed at through six church ages, but at the end, when the seventh angel begins to sound his mystery, he winds up all of the loose ends that these fellows probed at, and the mysteries comes down from God as the Word of God and reveals the entire revelation of God. Then the Godhead and everything else is settled. All the mysteries: serpent's seed and whatevermore is to be revealed.

Christ Is Revealed In His Own Word: 65-0822M: Par 155 “…Now let's take John or... Saint Luke 17:30, and watch what Jesus prophesied there, saying that, "As it was in the days of Sodom, it'll be the same..."Now remember, notice, this is at the time that the Son of man would be revealed; the revealing of the Son of man. Now, the Son of man was actually revealed potentially, just for a few moments there, just before Sodom was burned. Now, that Man was Elohim. That was God; and Jesus is God. And God was revealed potentially right there for a few moments, to talk to Abraham, in the investigation judgment…”

The First Seal; : 63-0318: Par 128-2 {75} And then there's coming forth seven mysterious thunders that's not even written at all. That's right. And I believe that through those seven thunders will be revealed in the last days in order to get the Bride together for rapturing faith; because what we got right now, we wouldn't be able to do it. There's something we've got to step farther; we can't have enough faith for Divine healing hardly. We've got to have enough faith to be changed in a moment and be swept up out of this earth, and we'll find that after a while, the Lord willing, find where it's written.

The Feast Of The Trumpets: 64-0719M: Par 146

I know many people different with that, but I know it's this. I know it. Not because I'm saying you're saying it; because, I didn't get it from myself. My thought is not my own. Ever what It is that told me, if It's wrong, then it's wrong. But I'm not telling it by my own, I'm telling by what Somebody else has said. That Somebody else is the God that spoke to us and done all these things that He has done, and appeared, see, so I know it's right.
