Overview

Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) officially launched the Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) on 27

September 2018. MBRS is the submission platform based on the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL)

format.

MBRS allows for the submission of:

i. Annual Returns (AR);

ii Financial Statements and Reports (FS); and

iii. Exemption Applications (EA) related to the FS and AR.

The mandatory submission of annual returns, certificates for private exempt companies and unaudited financial

statements to SSM in XBRL format was implemented in phases beginning from November 2018 onwards.

We are delighted to invite you to our MBRS Courses, offering you the opportunity to have an in-depth

understanding of the MBRS Preparation Tool (mTool), the MBRS Portal (mPortal) and the XBRL format to

adequately prepare you for a smooth submission of AR, FS and EA related to FS and AR.

CPE hours

A total of 14 Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

hours will be awarded.

Group discounts

A 5% discount will be provided on the total cost

(exclusive of SST and any HRDF subsidy) for three or

more participants from the same company. A 10%

discount will be given on the total cost (exclusive of SST

and any HDMF subsidy) for six or more participants

from the same company.

These discounts are available for participants from one

company attending the same course only.

Cancellation

Should the participant decide to cancel his/her registration, a cancellation policy shall be imposed as follows:

• Written cancellation received less than seven (7) days from the date of the event:

• A refund (less administrative charge of 20%) will be made;

• If a participant subscribes to a package, a credit (less administrative charge of 20%) will be credited back to the account;

• Unpaid registrations will also be liable for 20% administrative charges.

• Written cancellation/no show on the day of the programme:

• No refund will be made;

• Unpaid registrations will also be liable for full payment of registration fee.

Substitutes for cancellations will be treated as a new registration and full payment shall be made as per the above requirements.

Verification of attendance

• All participants are required to present photo identification (NRIC, driving licence or company's ID card) at the point of registration prior to

signing the registration list when attending programmes under the Deloitte Academy. Admittance may be denied upon failure to present

photo identification.

Certificate of attendance and CPE hours

• Upon full attendance of the programme, participants will be issued an "e-certificate". For this purpose, it is compulsory to fill in the email

address clearly.

• Participants will be entitled to the CPE hours upon attending the entire duration of the programme only. CPE

hours will not be accorded for partial attendance.

Data protection

Personal Data is gathered in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709).

This package fee is applicable for the workshops conducted by Deloitte

PLT only and is not applicable for special events, such as conferences.

• Seats are confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis.

• Seats are guaranteed only upon receipt of full payment by three (3) working days before the selected event date.
