INTRODUCTION
• The mosque is an institution that cannot be separated from the spiritual, social and
cultural life of Muslims
• The question, what is the effect of a rahmatan lil-alamin, can be felt by the whole
community
• the spirit of the mosque among Muslims became a platform for consolidation of the
Ummah
• a symbol of religious tolerance in the country
• the mosque institution is increasingly experiencing a narrowing of its role and function
• need to be explained to the Muslims so that the Da'wah, can attract the whole of
mankind regardless of their religion and race.
• Can the mosques be approached by non-Muslims to pursue Islamic knowledge

earth
• Rahmatan: the sense of mercy as an element of a universal, the Alamiyyah that contains
every creature
• a close connection between the functions of the mosque institution brought by the
Prophet Muhammad SAW with the necessity of Contemporary Dakwah.

with the strength built by the Muslims first
• open spaces and opportunities for non-Muslims to participate in knowledge councils
through mosques
• the house of al-Arqam ibn Arqam was chosen as a place of Prophet's teaching of religion
to the newly converted Muslim people.
