Dear Retailer (UK),In order to respond to the growing demand for the care of patients in the home environment, Celebrity have re-designed and engineered all its seating models & variants, to specifically cater for people and patients with chronic ailments and disability.
To achieve this, Celebrity have partnered with health technology experts Mammoth™ to develop their Medical Grade™ Foam Technology into our seating. Mammoth Medical Grade™ Foam and PostureCell™ Technology complies with all relevant statutory regulations and helps with chronically sick conditions and disabilities from (but not exclusively) chronic respiratory and cardiothoracic conditions to spina bifida, amputation, long term immobility and chronic back problems.
In accordance with HMRC guidelines:You may zero-rate your supplies if you are satisfied that the product meets the conditions of the relief and the customer is eligible. The designer or manufacturer should be able to determine whether goods qualify for zero-rating by referring to the guidance in our notice 701/7 and VAT relief for disabled people (paragraph 2.3 and 4.5.3).
