thSARANAM – 12 Jan, 2013Understanding expression through movement techniques

We explore dance and movement as tools in creating newer learning experiences. Dance is used as a medium for becoming aware of one's body and the messages its telling us and others. This heightened awareness of self (body-mind) and the other, plus spatial understanding enhances personal poise and workplace effectiveness of the participants.

The workshop will have a series of exercises to sensitize to what people communicate non verbally and decoding them. It will adapt the technique of movement for effective expression and communication All activites and exercises have a facilitated discussion that follows them. This discussion stresses on reflections on self, learnings and their applications in workplace and life.
