Clients

• Our project management team is led by Paul Cameron who has over 25 years of experience in the retail field and who has worked for many national retailers in both Canada and the U.S. market.

• Prior to joining First Capital Realty as Vice President, Mr. Cameron was Director of Engineering for Sobeys Inc.

• His duties included active involvement in the development of Sobeys Capital Plan and overseeing the execution of all related construction components including site development, expansions, new builds, major remodels and store fixturing in support of the plan. He has also assisted other retailers including A&P, Zellers and The Bay.

• Mr. Cameron has 25 years experience in retail construction and development.

• Paul Gilroy – Director of Construction. Has 30 years experience working in senior management and Project Management roles, Paul has worked for A&P, Dominion, Metro and Sobeys. Paul is based in Toronto and currently oversees project management in Toronto and Alberta. Paul is considered to be the top grocery store Project Manager in Ontario if not the industry.

• Bryan Jackson – Senior Project Manager. Has over 30 years experience as a contractor and project manager in Ontario. Bryan presently oversees project management for CAMi in the Kingston and Ottawa regions on Ontario. Bryan brings a wealth of residential construction knowledge along with extensive restaurant/retail construction expertise.

• Michael Feld – Senior Project Manager. Has over 25 years of Project Management experience including positions with prominent Canadian retailers such as Sobeys. Michael also has held Senior position with general contractors giving him a solid foundation to represent both owner,

tenant or contractor. Michael is based in Barrie.

• Yifat Ringel – Tenant Coordinator. Has over 5 years experience in tenant coordination for First Capital Realty and has successfully looked after tenant coordination for 15 major projects numbering 300 + tenants. Yifat has an Architectural degree obtained from University of Tel-Aviv as well has her LEED certification.

• Julia Cameron – Project and Tenant Coordinator. Julia handles the administration of CAMi projects and has brought knowledge from her past roles in management and logistics.

• Mary Edwards – Office and Accounting Manager. Mary has many years experience in accounts, book keeping and customer service. We are lucky to have Mary on our team.

In undertaking project management assignments for clients we take a disciplined approach and follow diligently the following steps through to a successful completion of projects on behalf of our clients:

• Develop detailed scope of work for each project.• Review and have the client sign off on the scope to ensure we have captured all requirements.• Prepare preliminary budgets for consideration and ensure we are working within the financial

expectations of the client.• Work with assigned consultants ( Architects, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers )

and ensure documentation is fully co-ordinated and reflects complete project scope.• Bring forward cost saving opportunities through value

engineering.
