Code of Ethics: A code of ethics is a formal statement of the company’s values concerning ethics and social issues; it communicates to employees what the company stands for.Code of ethics states the values or behaviors that are expected and those that will not be tolerated, backed up by management’s action. Without management support, there is little insurance that the code will be followed.
