This Born Saint who worked for comparative study of Indian &Western ethics and philosophy, has emphasised on the specialcharacteristics of Indian ethics to make Indian philosophy asynthesis of spiritual insight into the fundamental unit of thecosmos and encourage a practical pluralistic outlook with regardto the social and ethical aspects of Human life. PREFACE

I am delighted to present the Biography of Manav Dayal Maharaj Dr. I.C. Sharma tothe world. Shri Manavdayal Dr. I.C. Sharma is a Post Graduate in Arts and holds aDoctor of Philosophy. His specialisation is in History of Philosophy, Philosphy ofMind, Ethics, Metaphysics, Religious Philosophy, Indian Philosophy. His teachingexperience and competence in teaching include Epistemology, Ethics, Logic,Contemporary British and American Philosophy, History of Philosophy, NinteenthCentury Philsolphy, Elementary Logic, Social and Oriental Philosophy (Chinese,Japanese and Indian), Religious Studies, Psychology of Religion, Humanities andInterdisciplinary courses. His papers and publications have been widely receivedand appreciated.

His constant works for the development of the Humanity has been the only one of itskind in the entire country and the world over. His authority to throw light on theInternational Philsophy as a Spiritual Guru has always brought out lucidly, the ethicalaspects of the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Bhagavadgita, Buddhism, Jainism whichform the six orthodox systems of Indian Philosophy and the chief of contemporarycurrents of Indian Philosophy. He has worked for 20 years as a Spiritual Guru - Head of Manavta Mandir, Hoshiarpurand is a successor of Baba Faqirchandji Maharaj (Paramdayal). He attended numberof Philosophy Congresses all over the globe. Thousands of people follow his idealsand principles all over the world. He has also held high positions in administrativecadre in various Organisations and Universities. It is indeed a rare honour to presentthe biography of this Born Saint.
