INTRODUCTION Manchester United seem to have attracted almost as

many column inches discussing their kits as they have regarding their football.

The team are famous with it’s classic red jersey, that are known and feared throughout football.

The History

1955 - 1959

• First home kit wore this V-necked classic strip .

• The kit became a permanent choice during the 1956-57 season.

1960-1969 ( 1961 – 62 )

• Manchester United changed to this white-hoop collar design with white cuffs .

• The new jersey for the 71-72 season featured a huge floppy collar - all so fashionable in the 1970's.

1970 -1979

UMBRO ( 1972-73 )

• Has the club badge on the chest for the first time.

• The white and yellow away strips were also reproduced with the new added touch.

• A Plain red kit and with a badge that looked like it has been stitched on at the very end.

2015 - 2016• Adidas designer , Inigo Turner• Re-engineering a simple but impactful

design features such as the classic v-neck collar and the iconic three-stripe at the arms.

Nike’s DRI-FIT A high performance, microfiber, polyster that moves

sweat away from the body & to the fabric surface, where it evoporates. As a result it’s to keep athelete dry and comfortable.

The kits is one of the main role of club popularities. The technology that use to make the kit are keep
