„E-Zephyr‟ was the National Symposium organized by the Department of Electronics and

Communication on 12-03-2010 that attracted about 300 dynamic students from all overIndia.

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering arranged for the following

academic related activities in association with Institution of Electronics &Telecommunication

Engineers Students‟Chapter.

On 19, August, 2009 the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in

collaborationwithCADDCENTRE-Avadienlightenedthestudentsonthetopic„Electronic

DesignAutomation‟inaspeciallecture.

Mr. Rajesh Raja Ram, an American CEO threw some light on the topic „Advanced Technology

inTelecomIndustry‟inaguestlectureon16-07-2010.

A 7-Day certificate course in Mobile Communication was jointly conducted by Anna University and

BSNL. A handful of the final year ECE students benefited from this course. We are indebtedto the

experts Prof. T. Kalaiselvan, & Dr. S. Selvam from Anna University and Mr. J.S. Chelladurai and Mr. A.
