An amount of Rs 4,70,000 was sanctioned under UGC Minor research scheme for the project titled "Effect of reinforcement on a356 aluminium alloy with fly ash/sicp hybrid metal matrix composite using squeeze casting route"
Departmental achievements
· A student project proposal titled “Advanced Internal Combustion Diesel Engine Using Oxygen Enrichment” has been sent to PSG-STEP for a grant of Rs. 96,500. The first review of the project was over. The project has won many awards in contests held at IIT-Roorkee, BITS-Pillani,etc.Application for obtaining patent for this project has been done (Application No. :
2265/CHE/2008).
Dr. A. Ramesh, Professor and Head is the Principal Coordinator for below mentioned projects,
