MANDELA DAY AT RK KHAN HOSPITAL
The overarching objective of Mandela day is to inspire individuals to take
action to help change the world for the better and in doing so we create a
global movement for good.
We the RK Khan family took the opportunity to “take action and inspire
change” for the benefit of good. With the joint and overwhelming effort of our
staff we endeavored to make 67 minutes a reality for our patients.
The Pediatric Department and the Social Work Department joined hands and
pulled together to perform a spectacular celebration for the kids in the wards
each child was gifted with a goody bag, clothing and lots of sumptuous treats.
And not forgetting the 450 bottles of peanut butter together with recipe
books. The RK Khan PHC held a tree planting initiative. The Rotary Club
provided all outpatients a hot cup of soup and bread.
Ultimately our goal was to empower our community and individuals and urge
everyone around us to adhere to the ethical framework of “service to one’s
fellow human”
