Cn 1 September 1944, Division Trains were located in a tactical bivouac

in the vicinity of CHIA I,. ITALY (Q,290390) and remained there until they

moved to a new bivouac area two miles northeast of PONSACCO ((1308548) where

a semi-administrative cam; was set up. This area was formerly occupied byDivision Headquarters.

On 21 September. Lt* Ranrrr and Lt* Jost were sent to IV Corps Headquarterson detached service for five days to supervise the moving of a IV Corps Clas#

III Dump.

Cn 26 and 27 September 1944, Division Trains moved to a new bivouac areatwo miles east of PRATO (Q-71 6 810) and on 28 September moved to a new area one

mile south east of PRATO (4 684793. Ire an administrative can site was setUP.

On 29 September*1944,. Lt. Stockdale with the 1st Armored Division Bag~ge'

detail moved from warehouse vicinity of ROSIGNANO (C-165312) to new warehouse

in. PRATO (QrP67281(j.

Lt. Rusher remained throughout the month on detached service with 0-3,lt Armored Division as liaison officer.
