Missionary of the Month Steve & Becky Swope
Ethnos360
Steve and Becky Swope have served with Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) since 1989. For fifteen years they served in Bolivia at two schools for missionary kids (MKs) as boarding home parents, teachers, administrators, and in field leadership. In 2009 they transitioned to a stateside ministry with MKs. Their ministry is to encourage MKs and provide resources to help them as they face major transitions, particularly as they move between cultures. Some of their responsibilities include visiting MKs on college campuses, helping host retreats, and occasionally visiting them overseas. A new responsibility is helping to organize and facilitate family debriefings. They also are on the Member Care leadership team for Ethnos360. Steve and Becky have three adult children, two of whom are married. As you pray for them… … they are both facing some significant health challenges. … they have a busy travel and ministry schedule in the coming months. … they plan to participate in some important meetings at the end of February regarding the restructuring of the mission’s Member Care department.

Perfecting the saints for the work of ministry … McCoy Memorial Baptist Church is a community of believers existing to honor God by becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as a Church we purpose to: Exalt the Living God (Psalm 95:1-3) Explore the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15) Encourage the Family of God (Hebrews 10:25)
and Extend the Love of God (Mark 16:15)
Remember, if we cancel services due to weather, (Sunday or Wednesday), It will be posted on the MMBC Facebook page & website. If you have our MMBC smart phone app you will also be notified by a push notification, which would be the quickest and easiest way to know that
church is canceled. You can download it for Apple or Android devises. Look for the McCoy logo and McCoy Baptist Elkhart,
Indiana. It may also be on WNDU TV and posted on the WNDU & WFRN websites.
Also, if Elkhart Community Schools are delayed or closed due to weather, we will follow the same schedule for our weekday
ministries.
