MWF plans to include as many diverse initiatives as possible across the beautiful Manning Valley, which includes our former Greater Taree and Gloucester local government areas. Celebrating Community Creativity and the “Magic of the Manning”, the 2018 Festival aims to highlight our many talented young people. Start planning now for your event to be included in our June 2018 program. The nominated organization for support by the 2018 Festival is PCYC TAREE – CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE, providing positive programs and wonderful pathways for young people in the Manning Valley.
The Manning Winter Festival Association Inc. [MWF] invites individuals and organizations to participate in celebrating and promoting cultural development and creative industry in the Manning Valley.
The 2018 Festival will run for 11 days from Friday, 1 June to Monday 11 June 2018, inclusive. MWF plans to include as many diverse initiatives as possible across the beautiful Manning Valley, which includes our former Greater Taree and Gloucester local government areas. MWF will consider inclusion in the program of “Warm Up” events and/or “Follow On” events if your project falls within a week either side of the Festival dates.
If you or your organisation would like to arrange an arts/cultural/creative/lifestyle event to take place during Festival time, MWF would be pleased to include it in the 2018 MWF program and to promote it in our publicity. You would be responsible for your own event[s] and costs, including any required insurances. Proceeds from your event[s] would remain with your organisation. However, we would welcome donations towards promotion costs, if possible.
Attached please find Guidelines and an Application form to register for inclusion in the 2018 Manning Winter Festival Program. We need a long lead up time to prepare and promote the program. Closing date for applications is Friday, 1 December 2017.
