MMG 4 - MARS 09........................... 1

Owned by Sun Capital, an American

investment fund, the Manoir Industries

Group, a specialist in steel transfor-

mation through casting and forging, has

been structured into Business Units.

While the Aerospace & Specialties

Business Units consist of 4 forges and 3

foundries, the petrochemical BU, known

as Manoir Petrochem has grown in

strength through significant internal and

external development:

• The plant of Pitres, France, well known

historically for having given its name to

the Group, is still positioned as the

leading plant in the Group and focuses

on the production of sophisticated

alloys. The current boom observed in

the nuclear market has also reinforced

the position of this plant for being one

of the most knowledgeable companies

in respect of QA systems for the casting

industry. This facility is dedicated to the

manufacture of high integrity products

and recently developed alloys (as

detailed in this document) which have

gained market acceptance since their

introduction in 2005.

• Manoir Yantai, in China, is now a well

established manufacturer for the

petrochemical industry and has

supplied reformer tubes and ethylene

coils direct to engineering companies

and end users. The production has

been transferred as planned to a brand

new facility and operates with

production tools similar to the ones

established in France.

• The most recent acquisition of Manoir

Industries and addition to Manoir

Petrochem is Hi-tech Fabrication, a

fabrication shop located near to

Birmingham, UK. HTF is a small but

extremely capable shop when it comes

to complex welding in various alloys

and processes. This unit significantly

enhances our product portfolio

through the production of cold inlet &

outlet systems, transfer lines, and other

fabricated components, including

convection banks. This addition to the

Group reinforces our objective to

become a major supplier of a wide

package of spares for furnaces in the

petrochemical industry.

• The latest development of our Group is

the creation of a JV on the outskirts of

Mumbai, India which will lead to the

building of another fabrication shop. A

sales office is currently in place and the

aim of this unit is to service the Indian

and Middle East markets, with tubes

being cast in France and China and

assembled in India.

This brochure will provide you with

an update on the mechanical properties

of our current alloy portfolio, as well as

the latest alloy releases available.

Visit us on www.manoir-industries.com

for the latest updated news.

Thank you.

OXYDATION RESISTANCE

Oxydation processAfter ethanol cleaning, samples are weighed (3 times)

Cycle: Heat up: 300° C.h-1

Soaking time: 10 hours

Cooling: 300° C.h-1

After cycle, sample (with scale eventually) is weighed

See curves obtained for weight incresae hereafter.
