Guideline For The Event:

• You can participate as Individuals or a Team, Team should not have more than 5 participant.

• The Theme of Startup could be from any sector or Industry. All innovative ideas are invited, but notlimited to, the following themes, Biotechnology | Education for all | Electronics & Communication| Energy, Environment and Clean Technology | Healthcare & Biomedical Devices | Agricultureand Rural Innovation | Social sustainable ventures | Software and web services | FoodProcessing & Manufacturing | IT solutions for agriculture and Disabled | Media & Entertainment |Transportation & Rural Development.

• Phase 1: Idea Generation: You are required to submit your business idea on the spot with one ofthe themes stating the potential and impact of your idea in not more than 500 words.

• Phase 2 : Elevator Pitch: The selected ideas will be asked to give a PowerPoint based pitch deckcomprising of 10 slides which includes Business Name, Logo & Sector, the problem you aresolving, Advantages & Impact of your idea, Market Size, Revenue Generation, Competitors,Business Process, Current status & Projected Fund Utilization, Marketing Strategy, The Team. Thepresentation should not exceed 10 mins.

• Phase 3: Q & A Round: The final selection for the winners will be made in this session dependingupon a few criteria including the novelty of the idea, impact and potential growth, feasibility of thevision and strategy chalked out.

CRAC-D-CASEThe Case StudyUG | PG

Crac-d-case is the case study competition providing a realistic preview of the types of problemsthat corporate might eventually encounter. The case study requires deep analysis, strategic thinkingand strong presentation and communication skills. Each Crac-d-case caselet features an inspiringkeynote speaker with a unique message for students participating and audience. So, be prepared tocome inspired about the future and an opportunity to win handsome amount of money.

Guideline For The Event:

Case will be given on random basis and can be accessed on the event page of the website. You can participate as Individuals or Team, Team should not have more than 2 participant. A 15 minutes time will be given for presentation of case and 5 minutes for question and

answer. The presentation must be submitted on the power point. There is no minimum or maximum number of slides required, but the presentation should be

created with the time limit in mind. When preparing the presentation, teams should take careto ensure that their solution is clear and concise.

Graphics are allowed in the presentation. And The presentation must be saved in MicrosoftPowerPoint format. Presentations will be viewed on projectors with Microsoft office.

AD-MANIAThe AD MAD ShowUG | PG

AD MAD Show is an 'Advertisement Making Competition' for students to showcase their creativity inMarketing products and services. It comprises of humorous & conceptual ad presentation by thestudents. Students will act out on various advertisement script and ideas relevant for different sectorsincluding FMCG product, goods, services, automobiles, social awareness and more. All the teams willbe given a time frame to showcase their talent. Bring out the creativity inside you and make anoutstanding advertisement of your own.

Guideline For The Event:

It is a team event. Each team should have 4-5 members only. Topics would be provided on the spot and 30 minutes preparation time for each team. Time limit for the performing the advertisement is 10 minutes. Participants shall be judged on the basis of spontaneity, content, and adherence to the topic,

on-stage presentation, coordination and overall appeal of the advertisement. The caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice,

defamation etc. in Advertisement. The contestant may opt for a suitable dress code. Decision of the judges will be final and binding and Judging Criteria will include

Gear up to put yourbusiness acumen and information to test with this very interesting business quiz Quizzicalcomprising of 3 stages, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final.

Guideline For The Event:

Only Team entries are eligible. A team shall consist of two members only. The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments. Quiz Master’s decision will be final and the questions shall be in the form of multiple

choices. Replacement of any member of a team is not allowed after registration. Stage 1 will have Total 05 rounds i.e Identifying Brand taglines, Brand Ambassadors, country

of origin of various brands, CEO and name of the company. No negative marking Stage II will have 06 rounds comprising of Brand and Company related questions. No

Negative Marking. Stage III- Final round will be conducted with 04 Teams and 10 rounds including

advertisement identification, business terminology, Government schemes, projective test,mergers acquisition, rapid fire and CSR. Negative Marking for every wrong answer.

Time limit to answer question in each of the stage is 30 seconds.

A leadership event which aims to find the bestleader across the B-Schools in India. The event is designed to test each and every skill of asuccessful leader across various domains and avenues. The winner shall prove that he/she has themettle to sustain mental strength as well as tactical knowhow to come out in the front. Comprising ofvarious types of events, it would test all aspects of your personality and if you can actually prove thatyou have what it takes to be a leader and a handsome prize awaits you!

Guideline For The Event:

• It is an Individual event. Maximum of three participant from a single college• Participants must strictly follow a formal dress code and must bring two copies of their updated

curriculum vitae according to their specialization.• While registering for the event, kindly mention your specialization and the area of interest.• On the spot registration is allowed.• Round I will be on the basis of CV & Question Answer.• Round II will be based on PowerPoint presentation. A topic will be given on the spot and the

candidate is suppose to make a PowerPoint in 30 mins and present it in 5 mins.• Round III will comprise of Business Simulation and Situation Handling exercise and will identify

the final winner.• The names not specified in the announcement are not eligible to participate in the next round.

MONTAGEThe Business CollageUG

Fun on the run, you will be required to use limited resources on the spot and come-out with a pieceof work which would be called a perfect COLLAGE and display your sheer creativity andimagination. You will be given a business theme and let your creative juices flow to create an out ofthe box masterpiece in our business collage making competition, Montage.

Guideline For The Event:

You can participate as Individuals orTeam, Team should not have more than 2members.

Time limit for collage making is 1hour Theme will be given on the spot (One

theme for all participants). Participants will explain their concept to

the judges at the end of the competition. Material such as Black Chart Paper,

newspaper & Glue will be provided by theInstitute.

Other decorative material (as required)should be brought by participants.

The decision taken by the judges will beconsidered final.

Any participant or team caught cheatingwill be immediately disqualified.

Every participant will have to presenthis/her college ID card duringregistration.

Multiple teams can participate from thesame college.

Topic: “Demonetization: Paving a Path to Cashless Economy”

Decades of academic research have proven that the benefits that accrue as a result of engaging indebate are numerous. It provides experiences that are conducive to life-changing, cognitive, andpresentational skills. In addition, through debate debaters acquire unique educational benefits as theylearn and polish skills far beyond what can be learnt in any other setting. At the very least, debatehelps learners to see the power of deploying rational, reasoned arguments and compelling evidencein action. It enables them to elucidate their standpoint through utilizing rhetorical eloquence. It instillsin debaters a great sense of poise and confidence. It teaches them the skills of researching, organizing,and presenting information in a compelling fashion. Voice Of Change will acknowledge such goodspeakers and their business acumen.

Guideline For The Event:

A team of two candidates from each University/institute /college from UG/PG shall be eligibleto participate – (one for the motion and one against the motion.)

Each speaker will get five (4+1), minutes in total for debate. 1 speaker (Proposition) 1 speaker (Opposition)

Exceeding the time limit shall be a disadvantage for the team and the candidate. The participants will speak in English exclusively. The judgment of the jury shall be final and binding. The Debate Organizing Committee may alter/change the rules and regulations, prior to the start

of the competition and the same shall be binding on the participants.

ENACTThe Role PlayUG

Enact, the role play is a simulation exercise where a group of people act out roles for a particularscenario. The scenario will be provided to teams and can be either an imaginary one or a real-lifesituation. An opportunity to practise some skills in a given situation or scenario that could occur inthe corporate environment or the outside social world. The participant should imaginethemselves to be in the situation spelt out and behave as naturally as possible to enact thescenario before the audiences.

Guideline For The Event:

It’s a Team event and each team should comprise of 5-8 Members. The topic will be given 30 minutes before the actual event. The duration of the role play should be maximum 10 minutes including the time for stage

arrangement (if any required). A bell will ring at the 8th minute to indicate 2 more minutesare left.

Participants must speak in English and refrain from using offensive language. There shall be only one round. Participants may experiment with any innovative / Creative approach which will match the

aim of each Role Play Each Team of Participants will be given a short brief on the situation / Scenario which will

set the scene. They should develop it as it might in real life and not be bound only by thewritten brief received.

Teams should try to introduce change of scenes rather than sticking to only one scene tomake it more interesting. A slight dose of humour will always add value to the role play!

If any Participant feels that the brief provides insufficient information they may makesuitable assumptions, provided these are kept within the scope of the Role.

Your Role Play act should be Long enough to cover the essentials and short enough to beinteresting”

The Judging Criteria will be on the Creative execution of the storyline, Ability to convey thecentral theme or solve a problem effectively, Justice done to the roles played, Bodylanguage and Confidence, Language used.

respective institute.

• Intimation of number of Participants in the activities concerned should reach us on

or before 10th October 2017 in the specified format of registration form attached or

you can download a copy from the website www.vsb.vidya.in/manthan and send us

on the email mentioned.

• No candidate other than the registered participants will be entertained.

• The Institute has the right to reject any entry and right to withhold any of the

activity without assigning any reasons.

• Participants must report at the Reception Counter at 8.30 am on the day of the

event.

• All participants must carry their institute Identity Cards or Authorization Letter from

the Institute.

• If participants want to use additional stuff such as Laptop or any other props in any

of the activities they are requested to bring it on their own.

• In all the events decision of judges/college authority will be final and will not be argued upon.
