REPLACEAllLE PIN RACKING SYSTEM Philip Machine Co., N. Providence, R.l. For metal finishers Philip Machine's replaceable pin system is an economical method to maximize rack life. Their detachable wire forms allow the user to replace the holding pins within minutes without replacing the entire rack. There is no stripping and no burn off. Hundreds of different wire-formed holding pins are available for attach- ment to plastisol- or nylon-coated fixtures. POLYPIIOPYLDIE DIPPING BASKETS Imperial Industries Inc., Belleville, Mich. Imperial Industries' polypropylene dipping bas- kets are fabricated of o/16-in. thick high-impact polypropylene copolymer. The notched Izod test of this material shows no break. Baskets are stocked in 12-in. diameter x 12 in. high, 10 in. x 10 in., and 8 in. x 8 in. Custom-fabricated sizes are available in round, square, or rectangular shapes. Sidewalls and bottom are manually welded with 3-pass welds using inert gas. Top and bottom bands are placed on the exterior wall for addi- tional sidewall support. Handles are solid polypro- pylene or stainless steel. These baskets offer a cost savings over stainless steel. The 12-in. basket weighs only 4 lb. Custom-fabricated baskets are available in 3fs-in. or Y2-in. thick high-impact polypropylene.
